Despite it being the warmest winter there is nothing that can really compete with spring. It’s not that hot in spring and yet you can wear lighter clothes and experiement with makeup without the fear of it melting. This is why we like haute couture beauty so much. It’s experimental without being too out there as it sometimes happens during regular shows.

Atelier Versace shows us how to wear blue on the lids. The gorgeous royal blue eyeliner is shadowed with a more navy hue. The lashes are dramatically long and curly.

Armani Prive goes along the similar path. The eyeliner is shifted far from the lash line to the upper eyelid. Beautiful aqua eyeshadow remind of the sea while the glittery eyeliner looks like golden sand.

At Schiaparelli though the focus was on the lips. Deliciously bright creamy lipsick complemented the bright outfits of the collection. The eyes were barely accentuated.

Elie Saab being a true master of an evening dress chose a true evening makeup for his models. The heavy eyeliner and hazy gray eyeshadow complemented each other and dresses. The rest of the look was kept natural. The hairstyle also fit the look perfectly. Retro side-swept waves made the models look like silver screen sirens.

Valentino Spring Summer 2015 Haute Couture

At Valentino models sported a more nature-inspired look. The blushed cheeks and stained lips gave color to models’ faces while the luminizer made their skin glow.

At Alexis Mabille hair was the focus of the look, aside from clothes, of course. The feather-y accessories of different colors decorated models’ hair, which reminded us of Chanel’s previous shows.
