How to Survive Holiday Time: Eating Tips to Stay Slim and Healthy
Ah, miraculous holiday time comes forth! But how to resist the temptation to eat your fill, when there are tablefuls of excellent, but not necessarily healthy holiday food? An average American gain 1 or 2 pounds during holiday time, not so much you may say, but such gain weight is annual and can even cause dangerous health problems. Well, forewarned is forearmed, so it’s better to prepare beforehand, that’s why I’d like to share with you eating tips to stay slim and healthy.
Don’t go out fasting!
To keep down your appetite before going out can meal that is rich in protein. To refresh your inner man can a snack or light meal, like a bit cottage cheese, nuts or chicken.
Moderate Alcohol Intake
An innocent-looking glass of “vin genereux” or beer can seem rather harmless for your slim figure, but don’t flatter yourself, as alcohol contains no less calories. And next glass of wine can add you that hateful extra weight.
Exercising
Don’t forget of workout routine! Sure no one can make people exercising during holiday times, but at least find ways to compensate daily physical activity during holiday time. Try a brisk walk alfresco that can become a wonderful alternative of exercising.
Avoid eating lots of sweets
Sweets are concomitants of holidays, but it’s better to moderate eating sweets. They not only hold lots of calories, but they also make us crave eating more and more. Once you’ve bitten little piece of holiday cake you will want to gorge all of it.
Don’t be too strict to yourself, being a normal human being; you’ll obviously fall off the healthy wagon at some point. Simply after holidays turn back to usual healthy lifestyle and things are going to be all right!

Excellent reminder, surviving the holiday eats. Practical honest advice. I’ve also found setting aside meditation time increases my ability to follow these tips. Thanks.
