You would be surprised after looking at Beyonce’s gorgeous bikini body that during her pregnancy she has gained 57 pounds! Yes, you read it correctly. Well, how did she manage do drop the weight and regain her stunning silhouette?

She confessed, that she didn’t have much time to get back to her slim self since she scheduled the show three month after giving birth. Isn’t that too soon? Regarding her secret of losing weight after pregnancy, she said that she followed a low calorie diet:

I ate a very low-calorie diet. I stayed away from red meat and ate a lot of fish, replaced pasta and rice with quinoa. I always have breakfast, say, scrambled egg whites, a vegetable smoothie, or whole-grain cereal with low-fat milk. For lunch and dinner, I eat a lot of fish and vegetables. And throughout the day, I try to stay hydrated… I always treat myself to one meal on Sundays when I can have whatever I want. Usually it’s pizza, which is my favorite indulgence.

Well, no wonder that she has to be in form all the time – she has been going through the hard career times, and only now she is gaining a national-wide recognition. First of all, it is her appearance at the presidential inauguration last year, where she performed the national anthem and then it is her jaw-dropping Super Bowl halftime show.

If that wasn’t enough, there is a new documentary on HBO “Life is But a Dream”, which launched in February. Moreover, she has a new tour called “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour”, starting already this April. But wait, that is not it. She confessed that her new album would be released by the end of the year! Well, that is quite a hectic life, don’t you think? Nevertheless, she finds time and dedication for herself, and for that dedication, she ended up on the cover of Shape mag’s April 2013 issue.
