How To Remove The Makeup

Every woman should know that removing makeup in the evening is necessary as this will allow your skin breathe and regenerate during the night. It is quite understandable that a woman may want to fall asleep without removing the makeup but this can be damaging to the skin. It will clog the pores that will lead to blackheads and pimples as well as acne.

Before you start removing the makeup make sure you have all necessary products for that, such as: eye makeup remover, facial cleanser, cleansing milk, a towel, cotton pads, tonic and moisturizer.

Step 1. You should begin from removing your eye makeup. It can be difficult as mascara is not easily removed especially if is waterproof. Moisten a cotton pad with a little bit of remover and gently wipe each eye. Close your eyes and rub downwards on the lashes carefully until all traces of mascara are off. Use another cotton pad if you need, and then remove eye shadows. Never use usual makeup remover on your eyes. In case you have no eye makeup remover use baby oil or wet wipes.

Step 2. When your eyes are already cleansed you can start removing the makeup from the rest of your face. Use a cleanser that is specially designed for the face. Moist your face and apply the cleanser, rub it gently into your face and neck. Focus on the mouth, nose and cheekbones. Then for two-three minutes allow the cleanser to penetrate the skin. Never use soap as it can damage your tender face skin.

Step 3. Rinse your face with cool or lukewarm water for a few times to remove both cosmetic and cleanser residue, then dry your face with a towel.


Step 4. Now it’s time to tone your skin. Use oil-free toners for your skin type for a better effect. Apply the toner with a cotton pad and wipe until clean. Toners will help to remove traces of makeup, dirt and oil that your cleanser may have left on the skin. Besides, they minimize pores and refine skin.

Step 5. After you have removed the make-up moisturize your skin. This is a must in your daily regimen.
