We have written millions of times that wearing is necessary to protect skin from sunburns and possiible development of skin , better known as .

And although many ordinary women don’t follow this advice I have never expected I would see a famous person who ignores it as well being aware of damaging effects of the sun. The person I’m taking here about is .

pamela anderson on the beach 1
She does look great for her age. The body is fantastic. But face clearly shows the Playboy covergirl isn’t that young any more.

    pamela anderson on the beach

This terrible looks are the result of poor face care. Pammie admits she never uses sunblock and daily regime is not fer her.

    I don’t wear . I don’t have a skincare programme’ the woman said.

So, dear ladies, I hope you dislike the view of Pamela’s face and take some measure so that your own face looks perfect.

I’m one of those women who whats to keep the sun tan for as long as it is possible.

What’s been interesting for me to know is that tan duration depends on the place we’ve got it at: weather it was a beach shore, in the country or somewhere else. Southern tan has a tendency to paling much faster than the northern one. In any case, there are ways to make it remain on your skin longer!

    Vitamin A

As the skin becomes dry under the sun rays, it badly needs vitamin A nourishment both from outside (in kind of body oil or body lotion used after the shower or bath), and inside (there are plenty of vitamin pills in the drugstores).

    Take the right meals

Include into your every day ration beef liver, milk, eggs, apricots, spinach, carrot and probably all the red and yellow vegetables and fruit. Accept it as a rule to have one glass of carrot juice every morning.

It sounds horrifying but tanning beds are very dangerous. According to the Associated Press, experts had to reassess the danger of tanning beds as the results of the research over the influence of UV rays are not good.

    tanning bed
It was revealed that those who attend are prone to develop no less than those who like lying on the beach without a in the hottest time of the day.

Results of 20 studies show that the risk of skin increases up to 75% when people start using tanning beds before age 30.

Despite the fact scientists had previously thought that only one type of ultraviolet radiation was lethal, now the research shows that all types of ultraviolet radiation cause scary mutations in mice. That confirms that all UV rays are carcinogens.

It is UV radiation that is used in tanning beds and is now known to cause skin and eye . Besides, as number of visits to has increased over the years in people under 30, one should be aware that (the most terrible skin of all) is now the leading diagnosed in women in their 20s, though previously it was considered to be most prevalent in people over 75.

So, my dear readers, be careful! Try to stay away from tanning beds and always wear a when you go to the beach.

Well, almost daily I find different numbers and facts scientists give us about and risk of getting it. They scare us and then say nothing is serious and we should not worry much. But what is the truth?

There have been so many talks about the effect of sunshine to the development of skin and in particular. And now we have just got the information that the influence of UV rays was over-emphasized.

According to the recent study sunbathing is a risk factor, but the number of moles on a person’s skin is the most important indicator of whether they will go on to develop .

    sunbathing
Two genes were also identified that determine how many moles a person will have, and the risk of getting skin . So, the research suggests that genes rather than sunshine cause the .

The research was published in the journal Nature Genetics and seems to be on the way of reopening the debate over whether official health warnings about avoiding the sun are overstated and too general.

The scientists report that those who have more than 100 moles on their body, redheads and people with fair skin, are at higher risk to develop . Such people should be taught how to check their moles for changes in shape, size or color.

Scientists have proved that a spray made from green tea can protect your skin against .

The results of the experiments, published in the journal Experimental Dermatology, have shown the spray boosts the skin’s in-built immune system and helps it to reduce the harmful effects of the sun’s ultraviolet light.

    green-tea

Scientists at University Hospitals Case Medical Centre in Cleveland, Ohio, said green tea’s beneficial effects can be explained by the impact of polyphenols, which are powerful disease-fighting chemicals.

Polyphenols are extracted from green tea and then mixed into a solution containing water and different chemicals.

The mixture was sprayed onto a small patch of skin of ten volunteers and then was exposed to ultraviolet light. In the result the skin sprayed with tea turned to be better equipped to resist -related damage to cells.

In the previous post we have discussed the types of ingredients most often included into sunscreens. And now we will speak about SPF indices.

Sun Protection Factor (SPF) shows the efficiency of the in protection of your skin from UV rays. The higher the index the better the protection is, though some producers tend to overrate the indices.

    girl-applying-sunscreen

UV rays come in two types – UVA (UV rays of a type) and UVB (UV rays of B type). UVA rays are responsible for the aging effect of the sun. Besides, if you lie in the sun for too long UVA rays can cause skin . UVB rays cause sunburns and skin as well.

It is best to choose a product that states, “UVA/UVB,” protection or has “broad spectrum” protectant.

To determine which SPF index works best for you, it is necessary to know the photo type of your skin. There are six of them.

When summer comes many people go to the seaside but often take only a pair of sunglasses, a fashionable hat and a beach umbrella with them forgetting about the fact their skin also needs protection.

    girl-on-the-beach

Doctors have been warning us about the harm of UV rays exposure and the development of or some skin diseases as a possible result. Besides, if you stay in the sun for too long you’ll get sunburnt.

No one can deny that UV rays are useful, for they promote metabolism and improve blood circulation in skin. But to get that positive sun effect you can stay in the sun no longer than 15 minutes.
