One of the best skin care remedy is no doubt natural one i.e. with no usage of chemical agents. But unfortunately nowadays almost all cosmetics giants feel it their duty to add more and more chemicals in the beauty aids. But you know there are lots of natural remedies that can help to keep youth and elasticity of your skin and another advantage is that most of them are very easy to DIY at home. And today I’d like to share with you how one can use natural oils as one of the most essential and easy-to-do homemade skin care remedies.

First up, let’s sort out what one can use natural oils for and why they are so useful for our skin. Natural oils are very nourishing and can be used as an independent skin care remedy as well as can be added into your favorite shampoo or cream.

But anyway why natural oils are so popular in skin care routine? Well, the secret lies in the inimitable composition of oils. The substances contained in oils or more exactly their combination helps to nourish skin, stimulate skin cell renewal, moisturize and cleanse it; also some natural oils can serve as a sensitive natural makeup remover.

Well, we’ve clarified that natural oils are no doubt useful, now let’s consider some certain natural oil kinds, in order to use them properly.

Olive Oil

Olive oil has been used for many centuries and kept its popularity among beauties all over the world. Olive oil contains vitamin E and retinol, due to which this natural oil prolongs skin elasticity (vitamin E) and moisturizes it (vitamin A). Besides olive oil is hypoallergic, that’s why it is a perfect option for sensitive skin, moreover it doesn’t bridge the pores. Warm olive oil also can be used as a makeup remover.

Grapeseed Oil

Just like olive oil, wine-stone one can perfectly cleanse your face skin. Meanwhile wine-stone oil is almost only remedy among natural oils that perfectly suits oily and problem-prone skin – it doesn’t make oily sheen, but it narrows pores and matte skin. This natural oil is a perfect skin care remedy as it makes skin elastic, toned up and fresh. Grapeseed oil is light-textured and thus easy applied.

Almond Oil

This natural oil is also quite a precious skin care remedy. And not without reason as almond oil is a great source of vitamin E, due to which almond oil is a very powerful anti-wrinkle skin care remedy. Besides it greatly moisturizes skin and regulates its oiliness and protects from harmful UV-rays. Almond oil suits every skin type, but it is especially useful for dry and fading skin. Almond oil tones up, nourishes, cleanses and abirritates skin.

Coconut Oil

Firstly coconut oil has wonderful aroma that positively impacts our nervous system. But besides it has lot of other useful skin care properties. For face skin it is better to use refined coconut oil, it protects, abirritates, softens, nourishes and moisturizes skin. Also coconut oil can be used before sun-bathing in order to get perfect golden tan as well as after it to moisturize and abirritate your skin.

Peach Kernel Oil

Natural oil that can be very useful in skin care routine is peach kernel oil. It is one of the best homemade skin care remedy that enhances complexion as well as it can be perfect remedy for delicate skin of eyelids and lips. Also it is wonder remedy for lashes care. Peach kernel oil can be applied instead of your night cream.

Well, to conclude I’d like to say that of course it isn’t a full list of natural oils that can be used as wonderful homemade skin care remedies, enumeration can go on interminably… I’ve selected the most widespread, hope it will help to diversify your skin care routine with that will surely give you pleasure and make your skin fresh and healthy!

To achieve great makeup girls should take proper care of their skin. Perfect skin makes your look attractive and healthy. I have collected some useful skin care tips and would like to share it with you…

So here they are – the best helpful skin care tips from experts…

Eat healthier.

Chocolate and other candy, French fries, fast food, pizza and soft drinks can be the reason of pimples or breakouts. By avoiding such foods that often make your face breakout, your skin will be less oily and more resistant to flaws. But of course you shouldn’t flatly eliminate it but eat those things in moderation. To my mind, this is the most considerable skin care tip, which should be followed strictly.

Hydrate and exercise.

Drinking the recommended two liters of water per day combined with some regular exercise – walking, running, bicycling has a great impact on one’s complexion. Following this skin care tip replace dull skin with a glowing look.

And also it will be useful to make you feel more energized and great. You will feel less stressed and more capable of achieving everything which was intended.

Control sun exposure.

Too much sun is not only useful, but even dangerously harmful. It can blister your lips, leaving them red, inflamed. And sunburned skin will eventually peel, leaving skin areas pimpled and very sensitive. You should try preventing sunburn and The best approach to it is to control how much time you spend in the sun and to avoid sun exposure by using sunscreen with SPF 15 or even greater.

Keep practicing a cleansing “rite”.

Purifying, exfoliating, toning up and moisturizing is what you need on your way toward healthier skin. Choose a gentle appropriate skin cleansing solution that works for your type of skin – dry, oily, normal, or combined and cleanse face in a circular motion and rinse with warmish water.

Follow the cleansing stage with an exfoliant. A granular product is often especially effective in smoothing rough areas and releasing dead skin cells, allowing the face to be better moisturized.

After the exfoliation process, use a toner to remove any makeup or cleanser residue. Also for your skin to be silky and soft you’d better do a facial mask, at least once a week.

Finally, dap skin with a soft towel but do not wipe dry. Apply a moisturizer (with or without sunscreen). But if you have oily skin you do not have to moisturize it as often as for example those who have dry, normal or combined skin.

By following every skin care tip, aforesaid you should soon notice positive results, by disciplining yourself, achieving healthier skin will be much easier.

People say that one learns on his own mistakes (in love, profession, family), but if the point is skin care, learn from the experience of your predecessors. This post is about the mistakes you can stay away from relying onto the advices of the elder friends.

Mistake #1

Lots of girls don’t know their skin type as there are few problems that bother them. And they buy the products that they saw their moms, friends used. Meanwhile the choice of the cosmetics is quite an intimate case. There shouldn’t be any fashion following, but only your skin preferences.

Do you know how many problems you can get applying oily creams onto the oily skin? Skin pores simply can’t breathe and be free from the dirt. And what if you put on the drying creams having the normal one?

Conclusion: diagnose your skin type. There are plenty of on-line resources to help you. For example, you can go to the global cosmetic brands sites and pass the tests determining your skin type. Probably, these tests are trustworthy as the brands are interested in selling you the right product so that you could be satisfied with their cosmetics and become their resident buyer. This is the first what you can do staying in the computer chair.

The second one is you should consult the specialist. The consultant-dermatologists provide some perfume and cosmetic salons with free first consultation. Remember, that you should be curious about your skin!

Mistake #2

There are not many girls who know how to clean the skin believing that soap is enough at the age of 18-20. Tightened skin they take as the cleanness indicator. And this is a big mistake! Good soap that matches your skin type shouldn’t dry or tighten the skin. You are lucky if your soap is half creamy. But what if it’s not?

Conclusion: know more about your soap. If your soap peels the lipidic layer daily, if the pH isn’t neutral, if there are some irritations, know that all these will affect your face in the future. Find the products that can clean your face skin harmlessly.

Mistake #3

This paragraph makes sense for those who uses makeup or is going to do it. The conception of modern demakeup is a two-phase procedure. If you use only a wad with cosmetic milk and then wash the face with soap, then you do recklessly! This sort of demakeup choke up the pores and doesn’t care about the skin at all.

Conclusion: clean the skin twice! The first phase should be accomplished with the special makeup removal products (milk or oil), and the second phase is so to say cleaning after cleaning – you should take away the rest of the first-phase-cleaning cosmetics. That would be great if you use a special oil-free gel, mouse or tonic matching your skin type.

Mistake #4

If you skin is pretty dry or peels off regularly, don’t underestimate it. It’s the first sign that your skin is in need of additional nourishment. Lend a hand! Nourish the places that peel most. Apply the nourishing creams onto he problematic skin places. The rest of the skin doesn’t require another cream as it copes to balance the oil without any help. However, modern creams meet the requirements of affecting wholesomely the various skin areas.

Conclusion: chose the nourishing product for your skin type and use it daily. The skin lacking for nourishing, is inclined to irritations, damages, mircoruptures causing premature ageing.

Mistake #5

Almost every sunburn influences the skin condition with age. It becomes evident if you go outdoors without putting on any skin protection cream or lotion. Nowadays there are plenty of sun protection pleasant fragrant products. Protect your skin, if you don’t want to be covered with wrinkles and pigment spots after 35.

Conclusion: keep in your bag sun protection UVA and UVB creams. That’ll be just wonderful if all your day products contain SPF filters (moistening cream, foundation and makeup cosmetics). They are a bit of a higher price, but they worth it. And don’t be ashamed to wear hats, baseball caps, sunglasses.

Mistake #6

Although you might know the latest fashion makeup trends, but still cover your face with something wrong. A lot of girls make this mistake because they choose the color of lipstick over its quality. Irritating and allergic mascara is applied the same way just like the creams.

Conclusion: learn more about your skin and cover it with only what it needs. Be captious choosing skin care products that fit your skin type and your age either. Anti-aging products may harm your skin if using at the wrong age. The cosmetics that you aren’t sure of shouldn’t draw your attention.

Mistake #7

Sometimes you are simply lazy, sometimes it’s your lack of knowledge or attention, but the fact is that the neck should be nourished and protected against the sun rays, free radicals and other harmful exposures too. Wrinkled neck with flabby skin can spoil even the most blooming appearance.

Conclusion: Taking care of the face, don’t forget about the neck. Clean it, moisten, massage, in short, do what you do for your face.

Mistake #8

It can sound ridiculous, but a lot of women find the wrinkles after sleep. Wrong sleep to be exact! If you prefer sleeping on one side, it provokes wrinkles appearing. The quality of a pillow influences on the situation in a good or bad ways. Ask a 40-year-old woman how the sleeping position effects the skin face in the morning! And if it happens day by day?

Conclusion: sleeping on the back is perfect. And find a good orthopaedic pillow that will be on the watch of your beauty. To avoid the wrinkles on the neck, stir clear off the high pillows.

Mistake #9

Each girl faces this mistake. When we are young, we eat everything including fast food, alcohol and smoking cigarettes. This indulgence might affect your figure and skin with time. Remember the saying: “We are what we eat!” What do you want to be: fat turkey or sweet peach? What skin do you want? Fruits and vegetables are wholesome for both the health and skin condition.

Conclusion: revise your eating regime. For openers, strike off the sweets and carbonated water. That’s a real evil for your skin! And eat more vegetables and fruits. Keep your weight stable. Weight loss or heavy weight gaining is the kind of stress for the skin and as a result – wrinkles and flabby skin.

Mistake #10

Skin should be moisturized constantly. Provide it with what you drink. When you take gulps of water, you definitely see the difference. It’s an incontestable fact proved by women.

Conclusion: water, water and water! But not carbonated water! Some dietitians recommend drinking water even at night if you awake for some reason. Don’t wait until you feel thirsty!

This simple truth can make you feel responsible for your face skin. You should always be aware of the fact that only 40% of your skin condition depends on the cosmetic care and procedures, and 60% on your life style, meals and positive attitude toward the life. So, let’s launch the changes, and your skin will say “Thank You!”

What if you think that you belong to the combined skin color type?

Let’s imagine the situation that you can’t determine quite unambiguously the skin color type you’re of. If after thorough consideration you still can’t point out the color season and start thinking that you are of the combined type, let me assure you that you’re probably wrong, because there are no combined skin color types.

The most contradicting fact is that you can see more or less pronounced contrast between the skin, hair and iris within one season type as far as every type has both delicate, light and saturated, dark hues.

Thus, spring season type with golden dark tints in skin and hair can easily resort to the light nuances of the fall type in wardrobe and make up. And visa versa, one with tender and pale skin fall type can go perfect with soft and subdued tones of spring palette.

Something similar happens to the summer type dark tints that can be quite good with delicate hues of winter palette. And – as a very rare exception to the rule – strongly pronounced winter type with rich strong contrast of the skin, hair and eyes color can make use of lively nuances of spring palette.

Have I solved your doubts?

Going back to the Skin Color Seasons, let’s talk about the winter and summer type that is called cool skin type.

There are some comparative characteristics of this skin color type:

The basic tone of summer nuances – blue. That is why the tints of this type are more subdued, light and fuzzy than the nuances of the same basic tone for winter gamut.

The basic tone of winter nuances – always blue. But they are definitely more exact and clear than the allied summer ones.

Summer tone type women are typical for:

There are 3 variants of the summer skin tone.
1. Smoothly pail face skin tone.

2. The skin is transpierced with the thin vessels of the cold pink hue.

3. Light skin of the olive tone.

The summer tone type gets the tan well (the exception is the extremely light summer skin variants). The skin tint becomes noble, cool olive that never obtains a red subtone.

Freckles – moles and freckles (if there are any) always have grey or ash gray hue (no gold or reed-brown tint).

Lips – Cold pink.

Eyes – Grey, grey-blue, violet-blue, green-blue, dark-blue, and dark-brown.

Hair – Summer tone type people are characteristic for ash hue that goes perfectly with the cold skin, eyes and lips tone. The natural hair color is usually ash-brown. If the summer type woman has light hair, they are of ash hue as a rule.

If you like streaking, you’d better choose platinum-light tints. If you want to try the red one, there should be red color with a blue hue. Avoid too dark or black colors when dyeing otherwise there will be a rough contrast between your hair and skin tone.

Winter tone type women are typical for:

There are 2 variants of the winter skin tone.

1. Snow White – extremely light, almost “transparent”, and clean, noble skin. Soft pink color is very rare. The skin gains an olive hue when tanning.

2. South type – cool olive skin tone. It acquires an intensive olive tan.

Eyebrows and eyelashes – dark. It’s a characteristic feature for winter color type.

Lips – the lips are with cold subtone.

Hair – dark-brown, brown-black, black with natural blue hue. Light skin tone and dark hair create the winter typical bright contrast between light and dark.

Winter tone type women are best with light-silver, bluish, and blue-violet locks when streaking. Don’t choose red tints for dyeing as they make the winter-tone-type-look cheap. Instead try an eggplant color, dark-brown or black.

Eyes – natural eyes colors are: ice-blue, turquoise-blue, blue, violet-blue, green, grey, grey-blue, black-brown, black or walnut.

Celebs of the cold skin tone: Drew Barrymore, Megan Fox, Madonna, Reese Wiserspoone, Dita Von Teese and others.

There are some comparative characteristics of the skin color types:

The basic tone of spring nuances – yellow. That is why the tints of this type are more cheerful and brighter than the nuances of the same basic tone for fall gamut.

The basic tone of fall nuances – red. That is why they look richer, heavier, and of sallower complexion than the allied spring ones.

Now let’s distinguish each type thoroughly.

Spring tone type women are typical for:

Skin – face transparent paleness, delicate gold tone, slight colour of peach hue. Spring type is characteristic by the natural radiation due to such a face color.

Freckles – if there are any, they are gold-brown.

Lips – warm red.

Eyelashes and eyebrows – they are of the same tint that the hair is (light or brown) but in fact they could be a bit darker than hair.

Sun tan – spring skin type acquires the tan pretty easy despite the delicate skin color. The skin gets the warm reddish-honey, gold-brown or dark-brow hue (that is the main distinction from the fall skin color type that doesn’t tan so well).

Hair – these are the blonds. Hair tint is goldish or red. There are light and middle dark hues, but there are gold-yellow or gold-red tints in any case too. Spring type women go best with gold-yellow, honey, gold-reddish, copper-red hues when dyeing or streaking.

Eyes – natural eye colors are: delicate-blue, grey-blue, grey-green, light brown, turquoise.

Face skin color – the basic tone – cool, that’s why the skin looks tender and noble.

Fall tone type women are typical for:

Skin – 2 skin color sorts:

1. Even-light, warm ivory or goldish champagne hues.

2. Bright gold-beige or peach tones (this tint is darker than the one of the spring type and colourless).

Freckles – the fall color type is characteristic by the red or yellow-brown freckles and moles.

Lips – all women of this color type have bright lips.

Eyebrows – brown or reddish. There are thick but too light eyelashes very often.

Sun tan – fall type women get the tan not so well in comparison with the spring type one (the skin becomes red but doesn’t tan).

Hair – saturated red, gold-red, and just red tints but there are also some pretty dark nuances. Such hair color set off the skin paleness showily. If you dye your hair regularly try warm tints shot with red: from red-gold to chestnut-coloured but avoid cool bluish hues (like mahogany) as they create a poor contrast between the warm face and cold hair colors.

Eyes – amber yellow, nut-brown, dark-brown, motton blue, turquoise-blue, green and yellow-green.

Celebs of the warm skin tone: Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Fergie, Charlize Theron, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jennifer Lopez and so on.

There are colors that fit you perfectly. You look fresh and dynamic wearing them. But there are also colors that make you look tired and pale or what is worse, your skin seems to be of unhealthy red / gray-yellow tints. You probably know it by experience.

There is a relatively easy method that helps to orientate in the color problems: the so-called season theory. The thery is based on teh assumption that all people can be divided into 4 skin color types according to the seasons: spring, summer, fall and winter.

This theory will help you to distinguish your own type by the colouring of your hair, eyes, skin and will show you the color nuances on the example of red, blue and green colors.

Such knowledge will bring you lots of pleasure, especially if the success is obvious: all your wardrobe clothes fit each other.

So, let’s get to the point.

Spring and autumn are characteristic for yellow-red tints (warm) in the skin-eyes-hair pigmentation.

Summer and winter are typical for blue hues predominance (cold) in the skin-eyes-hair pigmentation.

But how to define which type you go to?

Take 2 headscarves (or whatever of the necessary colors): the 1st – cold pink tint and the 2nd – yellow salmon one. Set by turns every piece against your face and hands under the daylight.

1. Spring or fall type – cold-pink color nearness turn your skin pale and your lips blue. Yellow-salmon color, vice versa, brings some freshness to the skin making it cold a bit.

2. Winter and summer type – your skin looks fresh neara cold-pink tint contrary to the yellow-salmon hue that turns the skin into the worn-out, and makes under-eyes-circles too evident.

If you know your skin color, you can easily choose the correct makeup tints to flatter your skin. Everything will look natural to you, if the color gamut is yours!

Now all you need to do is to specify what type (cold or warm) you are:

To be continued…

There are a lot of different skin types. And it’s nessesary to know your skin type for good care and for choosing the right cosmetics products.

You can determine your skin types at home.

1. Clean your face with a skin liquid cleanser, then wash and clap dry. Wait for one hour.

2. Make note where your skin senses “tight.”

3. Pressure a separate piece of facial tissue onto each area of your face: nose, chin, center of cheeks, outer cheeks, center of forehead and outer forehead.

4. Inspect each tissue and look for oily mark or flaky skin residue.

5. See results:

If the whole tissue was oily that indicates an oily skin type.

If there is oil on only some tissues ( T-zone, which is the center of forehead, nose, chin and center of cheeks)it means you have a combination skin type.

Flaky residue on all papers, without oily marks – or a tight feeling in the skin shows a dry skin type.

No oil and no flaky on any parts of the cosmetic tissue indicates a normal skin type.
