    Our skin suffers from the badly circulated room ventilation and central heating system in winter. And together with this, people take much more proteins, fats, bread and eat more in general, move less.

    All these pollute the organism from inside causing skin problems. On the other hand, the cold stimulates and rejuvenates the cells. That’s why the winter coming affects our skin in a good way. But there should be taken some preventive measures to avoid the baneful influence of other factors.

    SPA at home

    Find a couple of hours a week to do with your beauty in real earnest. Let’s start with the easiest procedure.

    Winter face clearness. Take the cosmetic clay and knead it till you get a sour cream consistency. Then apply the clay on to the face and leave it there for 30-40 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water and then immediately with cold one. The deepest cleaning provides the black clay, that is wholesome for the body care and fights with cellulite.

    Winter face peeling. Mix up 1 tbsp oat meal with 1 tea spoon brown rice meal and 2-3 drops of lavender oil. Add a bit of warm water and 1 tea spoon honey. delicately the face and neck skin using this mixture. Then rinse it off with warm water.

    Face bath. This is a wonderful procedure for the normalization of the acid-base balance and skin detoxification. However, you’d better omit it, if you have a very or acne rosacea. Put the herbs and oils that fit exactly your skin type into the boiling water (in the pot or anything).

    For example, chamomile goes well for the sensitive and types; peppermint and rosemary – for normal and combination ones as well as acne-affected skin. Lavender is the perfect herbal measure for all skin types.

    Face Massage

    Clean your skin thoroughly before massaging it. If you have dry, prematurely aging or problematic skin apply almond or apricot oils after cleaning and cover it with warm towel to heat it up.

    Then rub the oil evenly all over the face (except eyes and lip areas of course). Remove the oil from the face with the help of small amount of lavender or rose water. Sprinkle your face a little with mineral water as an additional wetting agent to prevent further insiccation.

    To prevent all negative effects mentioned above one should take care of the skin regularly. Besides, toning and moisturizing with the help of products for it is highly recommended to apply various masks which will protect, soothe and combat inflammation and irritation on the skin.

    Here are some masks that will make your skin look nice and healthy.

    Pear mask. Mix mashed pear (about half), 1 tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon buttermilk. Add some oats if the consistency is too watery. Apply to face and leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.

    White clay mask. One spoon white clay, one teaspoon honey, one spoon hydrosol, such as rose water or lavender water and optional ½ teaspoon of Aloe Vera should be mixed well. Apply over clean face, leave it on the skin for 10 minutes and put wet cottons on the eyes. Take it off with warm water.
