Kristen Stewart has been chosen as a new face for Balenciaga fragrance. The brand plans to launch a new fragrance this year but their current ambassador actress Charlotte Gainsbourg will be continuing as the face of Balenciaga Paris. Kristen Stewart told WWD that:

Balenciaga has always stood out to me. Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognised and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.

The brand’s Nicolas Ghesquière said that Kristen Stewart “embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence.” And after working with Stewart on a project back in 2006 he “always wished to collaborate with her further, knowing that she shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga.”

People’s Choice Awards 2011 had celebrities put on their fancy dresses and suits to shine at the red carpet. So we’ve surfed through the People’s Choice Awards 2011 shots to pick up the most shiny looks there. The star-studded event had TV personalities, movie stars and music artists gather at Nokia Theatre, L.A. Queen Latifah hosted the awards and has changed three attires two of which were bright pink and blue gowns.

Queen Latifah has donned two gowns and a black suit over black bustier. Her side-parted sleek ‘do matched all of her outfits. Blue smokey eye makeup also looked harmonious with her wear.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian looked classy with her beehive updo and side bangs. She also sported a gold floral strapless dress completing the look with her signature falsies and nude lips.

Kourtney Kardashian wore a strapless dress with strange appliques, her hair was curled toward the ends. Side-parted hair was slightly swept to one side. Her makeup was quite tame brown with natural-looking falsies.

The story line for Eclipse picks up only months after New Moon ends, so there couldn’t be much change in Bella’s look, but we wanted to show that Bella had grown up a bit,

says Kristen’s makeup artist, Robin Matthews. In this case, youth is represented by clear skin and sweet, pink cheeks. To follow Bella’s style, use a combination of blushes as Matthews advised,

I use a combination of five different blushes.

If you like a faultless haircut, use young Alice style as inspiration: Her hair’s been styled so that it looks perfect all the time, even during the film’s full of action scenes.

We gave Ashley a very textured, layered cut then used a small amount of mousse on wet hair. We then blew it dry using hands and fingers to pull the hair as it’s drying,

Finally, when it was still slightly damp, wax with fingers piece by piece and finger-styled the hair into place.
