Everyday hair routine like washing, blowdrying, flatironing cause fried hair. In this case you feel uncomfortable as your hair is faded and looks absolutely unhealthy. Are you fed up with it? Are you ready to beging curing fried hair? Then let's go!!!

If you are reading this post, you’ve apparently fried your hair. Maybe you are obsessed with the curling iron, or for some reasons you stayed out in the sun for days on end, or your colorist committed crime dying your black hair white-blonde. And maybe you got that fried hair due to a perm atop a coloring job. Anyway, if your feel that your hair reminds straw, be sure, it’s fried. Stop moaning! That’s not the end of the world, so, calm down and set to hair fixing job! First of all, get rid of the hot tools (flat irons and curling irons) for some time (actually, as much as possible) and next: you need to get your ends trimmed every fortnight. And the third, follow these tips to repair the fried hair.

Number One: the simple cure
Buy a deep conditioner as soon as possible! Hair product that contains keratin and is named for dry, damaged hair is exactly what you need. Go product throughout hair and leave on for several minutes. The conditioner will absorb into your hair shaft and soften your straw-like hair. It will take about 10 minutes, not including the shower. Hold deep conditioning twice a week the first fortnight, then go on once a week. Washing your hair every day is not necessary as water is very drying to hair. Wear a shower cap while taking a shower.

Number two: Use a proper conditioner

For this fix, you need a conditioner with cetyl alcohol, according to colorist Robert Ramos in InStyle Magazine. The colorist says:

It’s an ultrarich fatty acid that helps hair retain moisture.”

Comb conditioner through hair then blast is with a hair dryer for 15 minutes. Rinse.

Number three: the complex but reliable fix

Celebrity stylist Chris McMillan, Jennifer Aniston’s hairstylist, shared this recipe in Allure magazine. Be sure, it will help you in case you follow all the steps; just look at Jennifer’s incredible hair!

Step 1: Blend in a bowl 2 tablespoons each of rinse-out conditioner, a leave-in conditioner, a deep conditioner and a hair mask.

Step 2: Run the mix through clean, damp hair making sure to focus most of the product on mid-shaft down to the ends.

Step 3: Wet 2 large towels, wring them out and heat one in a microwave for 1-2 minutes (depending on how hot your microwave gets the towel, you want it tolerable to touch, but steamy warm).

Step 4: Wrap hair up in the hot towel while you heat second towel in microwave.

Step 5: Alternate wrapping hair in towels about 2-3 times.

This ultra-deep conditioner should be repeated once a week.

Number four: Cut it off

It may sound really silly, but getting rid of damaged hair is tip is the only way to truly repair it. In order to keep hair in good form, get a trim every 2-3 weeks and swear off razor cuts and styling tools including curling irons, blow dryers and flatirons. Also stay away from any processing, which will only weaken hair further. According to Allure, relaxers are the harshest on hair, followed by bleach, permanent color, demi-permanent dye and then rinses or glazes.

If you have damaged hair, choose highlights instead of all-over color and ask your hair master should use a glaze instead of dye if you are going darker. For hiding gray hair, stick with demi-permanent formulas.

While most of us, girls don't have time to brush our hair before going to bed, brushing hair is still an easy, safe, and reliable way to keep our hair healthy and shiny. Choosing the right brush exactly for your type of hair is very important. Check out which hair brush is best for your hair.

Maybe you’d think it’s not important, but the kind of hair brush you use means quite a lot for hair growth and health. We should admit that we just grasp the nearest brush and run it through our hair, but we mustn’t be so negligent of our head of hair. Brushing your hair not only keeps it well-attended and under control, it calls forth the natural oils that keep your hair shining and healthy from the roots to the tips. Hair brush is underestimated very often, but choosing the right one for your type of hair can do great things with your hair; moreover, this little hair accessory massages the scalp, removes the loose scales cumulated on the scalp and distributes the sebum – oily substance evenly on the hair and regular brushing with a proper one stimulates the blood supply and healthy growth accordingly.

Still, hair brushing can be harmful either. The catch is that the wrong brush and the erroneous technique can wrench or tear your hair. So, keep in mind that the type of the hair brush that we use is essential for getting the right style and preventing damage. There are different types of brushes, each designed for a specific purpose.

The vent hair brush

The vent hair brush is the simplest one and therefore gives only the simplest effects. The hole in the middle of the base lets air pass through the brush allowing for faster blow drying. These brushes can also boost volume, and detangle your hair. You can use this brush to give your hair height and volume as well as some direction.

The styler hair brush

This one is easy to use due to absence of vents. Nevertheless, don’t think that you’d get the smoothness you want as the styler hairbrush doesn’t have enough tension. The stubbles are on one side only and form a slight half circle bend. It’s good to use this one for mid length and hair bob shape cuts as it straightens the lengths and ends of hair.

The cushion hair brush

Actually the cushion hair brush is popular with men though many women can’t do without it as it’s very easy to use and has a soft cushion base with bristles on one side. Moreover, it massages the scalp. If your hair is short to medium lengths and of normal thickness and density, use this brush to smooth, without lift or volume.

The round hair brush

The round hair brushes are generally used to give a curl and definition to hairstyles. The smaller the round of the brush the tighter the curl. For shorter hair, use a smaller brush and curl strategic pieces of your hair. For longer hair, round hair brushes can be used for curling the ends, or just straightening hair. A larger round hair brush is best for longer hair.

The paddle hair brush

The paddle brush is larger and flatter than the cushion brush and is good in using for long hair. After using a round brush to straighten wavy or curly hair, use this type of brush to complete your hairdo. The paddle brush is also perfect for smoothing naturally straight hair. If you sweep the brush down the length of your hair with a paddle type motion, you won’t create volume and your hair lie flat.

The thermal brush

The thermal brush’s heat conductive material is at the center. This material gets hot using the heat from your hair dryer. If the heat is too high, the thermal brush affects not only on the surface of your hair, but internally as well. Be very careful, it is easy to burn your hair if the brush gets too hot!

Military hair brush

Like most hair brushes, military brushes come in basic sizes and materials and more often don’t have handles. There are natural boar, nylon, and extra soft military hair brushes. These brushes can come with the bristles set on an air cushion for greater scalp stimulation- making them similar to paddle brushes. Military hair brushes are perfect if you like slicked-back look without the separating lines that a comb can leave. For even better results, try two military brushes, one in each hand!

The half-radial hair brush

A half-radial hair brush is cool for flicked up or flicked under hair and looks like a radial brush that’s been cut down the center. The two basic types are timber or plastic, with either natural or nylon bristles. Plastic half-radial hair brushes sometimes have bristles sitting on an air cushion (similar to paddle brushes), and these are great for massaging your scalp. The best thing about half-radial hair brushes is that they’re perfect for someone with thick hair looking for a nice wave without too much volume; for maximum volume you need a radial hair brush.

No matter which brush is best for certain styles, there’s nothing forbidding you to have at least one of every type. Changing your brush may ease your morning process of making a hairdo and makes it even faster. Quality is first of all; buying the cheapest brushes only means that those brushes will not last very long, and what’s even worse, may end up scratching your head. Groom your hair well, and be sure, it will respond you by shining and health!

Some hair care mistakes are quite common. They damage and weaken hair making it look dull and unflattering. Learn how to improve your hair care routine to avoid the hair care mistakes and have beautiful and strong hair.

Hair care mistakes like washing your hair every day or overloading it with products are common but in order to have a beautiful head of hair one needs to avoid these mistakes and improve their hair care routine. Read on to find out how to protect hair from damage.

Brushing Hair From Roots to Ends

Brushing or combing hair spreads the natural oils from roots to the ends. But brushing hair from the roots can damage and break hair at the middle or end especially when the hair is thin or wet as it easily tangles. So start at the end and gently brush hair gradually approaching the roots. Also make sure you choose a brush that can gently handle your hair type and length.

Overloading Hair With Products

Too many products can weigh hair down which look unflattering. Stick with a quality shampoo, conditioner and a styling product. Another common hair care mistake is to wash hair every day. By doing so you are stripping the hair of its natural oils that protect it from damage and drying out.

Rubbing Hair With Towel

The right way of drying hair with a towel is blotting it rather than rubbing. Rubbing weakens the hair making it more vulnerable to damage. Using blowdry on wet hair and often can also weaken the hair. So before blowing it dry blot with towel and let it air dry till it’s damp. Go easy on blowdry to let hair recover.

High Temperature Treatments

High temperature treatments like blowdry and hair straightening can damage hair easily. Make sure to use special products that contain oils to protect hair from high temperatures. Also be sure the temperature suits your hair type. Ask a your hair professional at what temperature it is safe to style your hair.

Poor Diet

Poor diet can weaken hair considerably. So make sure vitamin C, protein, folic acid, biotin, iron, and zinc are present in your diet.

Those who don’t afraid of experimenting with hair coloring and at-home trimming know for sure that it can end up in a real ‘hair-nightmare’. But it is not the reason to despair if you know the following quick fixes for hair disasters.

You’ve decided to change your hair color dramatically or have your hair cut or just trim your fringe a bit but something’s gone wrong and instead of the glam look you’ve got a real hair disaster. Sounds awful, innit (especially on the edge of the forthcoming holiday season with all those never-ceasing parties)? Today we will show you how to fix hair disasters quick and easy. Find out our tips and say goodbye to bad hair days once and for all.

Well, if you hair color is blonde, you probably have a first-hand knowledge of the extreme vulnerability of your fair tresses. Excessive exposure to the rays of the sun, chlorinated water or even wrong hair dye option can make your fabulous blonde strands go green. To fix this green hair disaster you will need just to massage a bit of ketchup into your hair, keep it for half an hour and then rinse your hair with lukewarm water. It will restore your amazing blonde hair color.

Excessive usage of permanent hair dyes makes your hair dry and coarse. To fix the problem you’d better opt for a semi-permanent hair dye instead and do only a root application when re-coloring your hair. It will keep your tresses looking healthy.

Don’t panic if you cut your fringe and make it a bit shorter than usually or cut it unevenly. First of all don’t cut anymore! It will only worsen the situation, it is better to opt for the glamorous beauty fix instead. Brush your bangs to the side and secure it with a bobby pin. Apply a bit of styling cream to keep your hair in place.

Think positive and remember hair grows back!

A few people know that choosing the right hair brush is frequently the most important step toward the desired healthy hair you’ve always dreamed of. Learn our tips on choosing the right hair brush for your hair type/length and the result wouldn’t be slow to arrive.

Fortunately, there is a great variety of hair brushes to choose from. They are made of different materials, in different forms and sizes to satisfy all the hair needs. But if the certain hair brush works good on someone’s hair doesn’t mean it will suit your strands as well. That is why we’ve prepared for you several need-to-know tips on choosing the right hair brush in accordance with your hair type, length and the effect you’d like to get.

Vent brush is the perfect option for those who want to add volume to their hair. The matter is that the design of vent brush lets the air circulate throughout your hair when you blow dry your strands, that can’t but give your hair the desired volume.

Round brush is irreplaceable if you want to straighten your hair. Therewith it works perfect for all the hair lengths and types. The only thing I’d like to mention is that the longer hair you have the larger diameter of the brush you should choose.

To get soft curls without using curling iron you’d better to opt for round hair brush with the metal or thermal ventilated barrel.

Wet tresses are actually much weaker that dry hair is. That is why to untangle your wet tresses after washing you’d better go for hair brush with widely placed bristles.

You’d better choose the mixed-bristle brush (boar + nylon bristles) to style long hair. The natural animal bristles will polish your strands while the nylon ones will grab and hold sections of your hair without damaging your locks.

To backcomb your hair you should choose the narrow hair brush with two or three rows of densely placed bristles. But remember frequent backcombing damages hair; therefore you shouldn’t make it once too often.

Healthy and beautiful hair is no doubt every woman’s dream, but how to keep our tresses looking amazing despite all the harsh and damaging conditions our locks are often exposed to. The answer is actually easier than it might seem – never skip conditioning your hair as it is the greatest source of essential hydration for your locks. Learn how to make the most of any hair conditioner following our need-to-know conditioner tips for amazing hair.

#1

Deep-conditioning can actually do marvels to your hair if performed at least once a month. Opt for the deep-conditioning mask necessarily containing hydrolyzed collagen and amino oil. Apply it for a couple of hours and then shampoo your tresses as usual, it will provide your hair with incredible strength, moisture and shine.

#2

It is better to invest into a cream-based hair conditioner that is packed with protein and ceramides which are absolutely irreplaceable for treating damaged locks.

#3

Never apply your hair conditioner to the full hair length, if you don’t want to add weight to your tresses. Apply conditioner just to the mid-length of your hair down to the ends.

#4

Always comb your strands during the conditioning procedure to make it easier for all the wholesome conditioner ingredients to penetrate.

#5

Go for a leave-in conditioner to treat colored hair. Spray it before shampooing your strands to add an extra layer of protection and moisture to your hair.

Hair is made up of protein that is why it is like skin cells needs protection and proper care to look gorgeous. Unfortunately many of the things we used to doing with our hair to make it look beautiful actually do a lot of harm which makes hair dry, brittle and hard-to-style. But take your time to cut your lock off as we know several easy tips on how to treat damaged hair at home.

Try Apple Vinegar

The excessive usage of hair styling products as well as hard water makes hair dull and dry. But the following tried-and-true at-home remedy can help to repair damage and make your hair glossy and soft. You just have to rinse your hair with apple vinegar, after wash it with lukewarm water and apply moisturizing conditioner for a couple of minutes. Rinse with warm water again and your hair will look silky and shiny.

Natural Moisturizing Mask for Hair

As it is widely known UV-rays are harmful not only for skin but for hair as well. Sun exposure makes hair extremely dry and brittle. Try the following natural moisturizing mask to recover your tresses and to add a boost of moisture. To prepare moisturizing mask you will need to mix carefully ½ cup of olive oil, 1 egg and 2 spoons of honey. Apply the derived mixture to your locks, cover them with plastic wrap and keep for 40-50 minutes. After rinse you hair with warm water.

Invest into Right Hair Tools

Purchase a wide-toothed hair comb to minimize hair breakage. Besides, if you have damaged hair it is better to avoid rough styling, using headbands or rubber bands as all these things make your hair even more damaged.

But if those tips don’t help then you can’t go without professional help. Get a professional haircut to get rid of dry and split ends and then use our hair care tips to prevent hair damaging. As you know it is always easier to prevent than to treat!
