Lips

If your lips are dry and peel off, rub them with usual Vaseline using a wet piece of fabric or a towel. That will remove the dead cells and prevent them from getting dry again.

The lips color and smoothness usually fades in winter. So you can use a lemon juice to restore the natural lips hue.

And try to control yourself! I mean, if you have that horrible habit to lick the lips. The comments are unnecessary, I suppose.

Around-eyes-skin

Don’t be surprised at people who wear sunglasses in winter. They probably do right. The sunglasses protect the tender skin around the eyes from cold winds and snowfalls.

He considers hair as the accessory saying:

“The hair is just like any other accessory,” he told us. “You’ve really got to make it go with what you’re wearing.”

Curly cut?

“Some styles are made for hair only when it’s blown-out straight. You want a cut that’s made for both curly and straight looks,” he says. “If you’re concerned with how your hair will look wavy, ask your stylist to cut it when it’s curly, and then blow it out and fine tune when it’s straight.”

The illustrious hairstylist gives the tips on what hair tools are better:

“When it comes to textured hair, a ceramic round brush is key for keeping strands healthy and shiny, no matter how much you style it,” says Wright. For finer hair, Wright likes a rubber-based Denman Brush. “It grips the hair a little and smooths the cuticle out,” he says.

The ‘up-tuck’ matches all shapes of faces.

Hair thickness not always depends on the expansive products or super salons procedures. Old proven recipes are sometimes much better. One of the main components of such recipes is the capsicum extract. I think, it’s the best hair growth boosting product.

The effect of the capsicum extract is based on the following mechanism: alcohol steams out the skin warming it up. Due to the blood circulation stimulation hair bulbs receive more nourishing components as if rejuvenating them. Hair start growing intensively, acquire gloss and strength.

You can buy capsicum extract in any drugstore or prepare it at home.

• Take 5-6 red papers, cut them and put into the bottle with alcohol. Let id brew for a week. And the extract is ready for use.

There are lots of the recipes on the bases of the capsicum extract.

You can simply mix it with burdock oil and apply onto the head skin two times a week.

• One more perfect nourishing recipe. Take 1 tbsp capsicum extract, cognac, oil (vegetable or burdock), lemon, honey, and 1 egg yolk. Stir it well. These ingredients are hard to mix that’s why be patient. After you finish, apply the mask onto the head skin and along the hair, cover it with polyethylene and then with a towel to create a hothouse conditions. Leave the mask on for half an hour and then shampoo it off. The result is shining healthy hair.

Feel free to vary the ingredients of this recipe. One can add mustard powder or kefir to the mixture.

There can be anything to be applied onto the hair. As they say, everything for the result.

Remember, that capsicum extract is the great but very burning product. Avoid getting the extract on to the eyes and wash your hands carefully after putting it on. If you decide to rub the extract into the head skin, dilute it with water. Watch your sensations: if it burns not so hard, then don’t dilute it at all.

The masks for the rubbing can be done a couple of times per week along the month or longer.

Everything is for the result.

Every time when Kim Kardashian appears on the red carpet it’s a surprise as she presents new images and hair colors and styles. But recently she proved the saying “Beauty knows no pain” on her twitter talk with her fans. The socialite shared how painful the hair styling processes are.

After posing for a series of photos with caramel, chocolate and blonde strips in her hair, Kim said she had to endure all those procedures to keep her hair looking good for the photo shoots but all those hair-thickening and lengthening procedures were painful.

She tweeted:

“Do you like the streaks? Those blonde streaks were extensions that they glued in for a shoot! It took hours to get them out and now I have this glue in my hair! Torture!”

The 29-year-old beauty also took to the social networking site to boast about her latest fashion obsession.

Kim posted a photograph of her latest purchase, a pair of flat, thigh-high brown leather boots.

She wrote:

“Obsessed with my Stuart Weiztman thigh high leather flat boots!!!!!”

Masks for Dry Hair

• Blend 5 oz vegetable marrow (if it’s young, don’t peel) and press out the liquid. Add 0.5 glass of milk and 1 tbsp olive oil. Stir it thoroughly and apply onto the hair. Rinse off the mask in 20 minutes.

• Mix up 1 egg yellow, 1 tbsp vegetable or olive oil, 1 tea spoon honey, 1 tea spoon henna and 1 tea spoon cognac. Put the gruel onto the hair evenly and leave it there for 30-40 min. then rinse off with warm water.

• There are lots of good responses about the Iranian henna and black hair dye. They strengthen the roots of hair, bring elasticity to the locks and create a sort of the protective cover on the hair surface.

• If you are a curly blond, then rinse your hair with chamomile tincture.

Designers are great about outfits and accessories but they are often big failures when it comes to skin care or hair care products. They are not professionals and though they do seek help from good specialists what usually comes out in the result is not the best quality possible.

I love Anna Sui’s clothing, it is really nice, but does it have anything in common with cosmetics? I guess no. But I still hope the hair care products which have appeared recently under the designer’s name are not bad.

The line was created in Japan and is said to have been tested backstage at her shows. The range includes: shampoo, conditioner and repairing oil treatment.

The bottles are decorated with signature Anna Sui rose design and the scent is also rosewater.

I do want this line to be a success to prove me and millions of others – non-believers – that designers can be good at many things!
