American singer, Fergie has signed up to release her debut scent Outspoken (as we have already wrote about it) with the cosmetic brand Avon. The Black Eyed Peas only female poses for the fragrance promo photoshoot.

The star joins the A-list of the celebs who have worked with Avon, including Jennifer Hudson, Salma Hayek, Reese Witherspoon and Courteney Cox.

Born Stacey Ferguson, Fergie has said:

“Each one completely different, but they are all wonderful, strong women who have a purpose. It was very important to me to bring what I have to the table.”

She added:

“I’m a bit more rock n’ roll than some of the other artists, and Avon has really allowed my personality to come through.”

The tuberose fragrance also features notes of frozen blackberry, starfruit, saffron, jasmine, passion flower, ebony, black leather and vetiver.

Fergie comments on the scent:

“It’s fresh but yet still modern. The process [of creating it] was amazing!”

The price of the upcoming smell is $28 and is available through Avon sales representatives.

As we have already mentioned Fergie teamed up with Avon to release her first fragrance named Outspoken.

With top notes for Iced Berry, Star Fruit and Wild Saffron, Outspoken’s middle tones were described as Intoxicating (Tuberose Absolute, Midnight Jasmine, Passion Flower) and the low notes as Fearless (Racy black leather, Raw Ebony Wood, Smokey Vetiver).

Also the bottle was inspired by a crystal decanter from Fergie’s wedding.

The cosmetic brand Avon has teamed up with the Knock You Down star Keri Hilson to promote Imari and Imari Seduction fragrance, a divison of Avon’s flagship Color brand, the cosmetics company announced on Wednesday.

Group Vice President, Marketing, Avon North America, Bob Briddon says:

“Keri embodies everything the Avon woman aspires to be — beauty, grace, confidence and success. We are thrilled to have her on board as the face of Imari and our Color collection.”

Other Avon’s celebrity partners include Jennifer Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, Fergie, Courteney Cox, Patrick Dempsey, and Zoe Saldana.

Keri commented:

“I’m so excited and honored to be Avon’s newest face. Avon has always been dedicated to empowering women through beauty. I’ve always strived to do the same with my music. To be a part of that experience means a tremendous amount to me.”

The R&B artist will debut as the face of Imari campaign in August. Keri’s first official appearance on behalf of the brand will be performing at Avon’s annual sales conference this month.

The Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie is to launch her debut fragrance Outspoken developed with cosmetic firm Avon and said the name was of prime importance as it had to reflect her attitude as well as being original.

Stacey Ferguson told WWD:

“I didn’t want to call it Duchess, or Glamorous, or Fergalicious, or something that I’ve already done.”

She also described the scent:

“I didn’t want it to be so cutesy. I wanted it to be strong and empowering, something that represents me as a whole woman, a fearless woman.”

She wanted Outspoken to make a ‘statement’.

“From my music to my wardrobe, my style is all about speaking up and making a statement. That’s why my first-ever fragrance exudes independence. Outspoken definitely turns heads, but it also lets your true personality shine through.”

The scent notes are starfruit, tuberose, jasmine, and passion flower with base notes like black leather and smoky vetiver.

Fergie’s husband, actor Josh Duhamel said:

“I didn’t like what she was wearing before, but I never told her. But this is good. It just works with my nose, I think.”

Outspoken by Fergie will be released in September in the US and sell at $28 a bottle.

Grammy Awards 2010, held last night (Jan 31) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, it’s great event that provides us with info to chatter about: the styles, make up and hairdos of the winners and just invited.

It seems if this award didn’t mean much for the majority of those who came up to there. I don’t mean to offend anyone, but despite their gorgeous outfits, the hairdos weren’t done the same way. Probably, for someone it matched well, but for others it slurred over the image completely like no outfit – no hairdo.
Tastes differ! It’s you to judge.

Lady Gaga was one of the brightest stars wearing Giorgio Armani Prive gown and having her hair tips yellow dyed. She looked awesome after receiving two awards as well. She is out of our galaxy!

The 31-year-old Victoria’s Secret model, Marisa Miller, arrived at the 2010 Grammy Awards donning a Vintage Gucci dress that looked so go with loose-&-a-bit-wavy do.

The 21-year-old Jersey Shore star, Nicole Polizzi aka Snooki, had no hairdo. More over, it didn’t fit her ridiculous short tight dress. She was like round-round! Where were her stylists I wonder!

The 41-year-old singer Celine Dion attended the event with her husband René Angélil.

Fergie looked stunning great in the rich blue Pucci dress, but her do weren’t as impressive as her outfit. What do you think if she has worn ponytail instead?

At the red carpet premiere (Dec. 15) for Nine held at NYC’s Ziegfeld theater, the 42-year-old Aussie actress was spotted with white powder all over her nose and under her right eye.

Nine hits theaters on December 25. The flick co-stars Penelope Cruz, Daniel Day-Lewis, Fergie, Marion Cotillard, Dame Judi Dench, Kate Hudson.

The Black Eyed Peas outstanding-only-female Fergie – who is married to Hollywood hunk Josh Duhamel – keeps going on a healthy diet being at home. Probably she has to! Fergie can’t resist the carbonate-laden snacks while away on tour with her band.

She explained:

“That’s the hard part! At home I have a diet meal delivery service, but on tour I order room service, and while I try to have healthy options, it still comes with bread and butter. And sometimes it’s too hard for me to resist!”

The 34-year-old singer-turned-shoe-designer cares not only about her toned-up shapes. Recently she appeared in the star-studded musical movie ‘Nine‘ alongside Kate Hudson, Sophia Loren, Penelope Cruz and Dame Judi Dench.

Fergie also loves being creative and designing luxurious pairs of shoes.

She explained to Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine:

“I like having different outlets. Filming the movie ‘Nine‘ was a total contrast to the chaos of touring. I love designing shoes too as it’s another creative outlet. Making my ideas come to life is so rewarding.”

The American pop singer Fergie has gained some weight for the role in the film Nine directed by Rob Marshall. But it does nothing to compare with the marriage problems concerning her husband cheating on her with a stripper.

The 34 year-old star was pretty frank in an interview with Cosmopolitan December issue conducted before the scandal broke out.

Fergie even revealed some intimate details about what turns her hubby Josh Duhamel on – body fat.

“[Duhamel] was excited. He enjoys having both: the extra meat to grab when it’s there and the tight stomatch when that’s there.”

The singer-turned-actress also commented on how she sees her acting performances:

“You know, in Italy” (where Nine takes place), “Catholic boys are raised to believe that there are two types of women: the Madonna and the whore. And me? I’m both.”

By the way she uses her real name in the credits – Stacy Ferguson.

There is no doubt that Fergie can easily bring her sporty body back and we hope that her stormy family deals will be down soon.

After reuniting with the BEP, Fergie is to launch her “first-ever” fragrance in the team with the famed brand Avon. She is currently in Los Angeles having shots with renowned photographer Mario Sorrenti for the ad campaign of the scent.

“The shoot is looking fashionable and sexy,” she says. “She’s taking glamorous to a whole new level.”

What I like about the celebs is the way they think they participate in creation of the aroma. In fact they just express what kind of the scent they want it to be and after the laboratorians compose it they just choose the one they like out of the offered range of scents.

“I’m so excited to partner with Avon to develop my first-ever fragrance,” Fergie commented.

Fergie joins a growing list of celebs in Avon’s stable, including Derek Jeter and Patrick Dempsey. The fragrance is not named yet but it is due to launch in 2010.

“I’m always seeking out new ways to express myself, and fragrance is the perfect opportunity to share my originality and confidence with my fans, and the Avon consumer.

I couldn’t be happier to be working with a brand with such a strong reputation for supporting women… [The fragrance] is fresh and alluring. The vibe for the scent is for the woman who wears it to feel confident and not be afraid to be noticed.”

There are some comparative characteristics of the skin color types:

The basic tone of spring nuances – yellow. That is why the tints of this type are more cheerful and brighter than the nuances of the same basic tone for fall gamut.

The basic tone of fall nuances – red. That is why they look richer, heavier, and of sallower complexion than the allied spring ones.

Now let’s distinguish each type thoroughly.

Spring tone type women are typical for:

• Skin – face transparent paleness, delicate gold tone, slight colour of peach hue. Spring type is characteristic by the natural radiation due to such a face color.

• Freckles – if there are any, they are gold-brown.

• Lips – warm red.

• Eyelashes and eyebrows – they are of the same tint that the hair is (light or brown) but in fact they could be a bit darker than hair.

• Sun tan – spring skin type acquires the tan pretty easy despite the delicate skin color. The skin gets the warm reddish-honey, gold-brown or dark-brow hue (that is the main distinction from the fall skin color type that doesn’t tan so well).

• Hair – these are the blonds. Hair tint is goldish or red. There are light and middle dark hues, but there are gold-yellow or gold-red tints in any case too. Spring type women go best with gold-yellow, honey, gold-reddish, copper-red hues when dyeing or streaking.

• Eyes – natural eye colors are: delicate-blue, grey-blue, grey-green, light brown, turquoise.

• Face skin color – the basic tone – cool, that’s why the skin looks tender and noble.

Fall tone type women are typical for:

• Skin – 2 skin color sorts:

1. Even-light, warm ivory or goldish champagne hues.

2. Bright gold-beige or peach tones (this tint is darker than the one of the spring type and colourless).

• Freckles – the fall color type is characteristic by the red or yellow-brown freckles and moles.

• Lips – all women of this color type have bright lips.

• Eyebrows – brown or reddish. There are thick but too light eyelashes very often.

• Sun tan – fall type women get the tan not so well in comparison with the spring type one (the skin becomes red but doesn’t tan).

• Hair – saturated red, gold-red, and just red tints but there are also some pretty dark nuances. Such hair color set off the skin paleness showily. If you dye your hair regularly try warm tints shot with red: from red-gold to chestnut-coloured but avoid cool bluish hues (like mahogany) as they create a poor contrast between the warm face and cold hair colors.

• Eyes – amber yellow, nut-brown, dark-brown, motton blue, turquoise-blue, green and yellow-green.
