Recently the 28-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star participated in the photo shoot for “O”, now dressed up as a high-fashion Barbie for Australia’s Kurv magazine with luxuriant hair and long long wig.

She says on it:

I’m shooting a Barbie themed photo shoot today with famed photographer Tony Duran! These looks are crazy!”

Kim is responsible for the organizing a party for her sister Kourtney, who is pregnant from her sometime boyfriend Scott Disick.

About diet:

I’ve found when all I’m eating is really fresh, healthy foods, I stop craving pizza and burgers. When I have [healthy] foods in front of me, I find it easier to avoid high-calorie binges.”

About body tattoo:

I got a tattoo on my lower back that says ‘sticks and stones,’ because they may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. Once I let go of that, I felt more confident about myself. And that… made my decision to leave ‘The Hills’ pretty easy…”

Us Weekly is one of few magazines that survives and even prospers in the economy hard times. Now it expands offline as well. The magazine will publish the special bookazine Us Hair on August 21. It’s a 130-page guide with product recommendations, paparazzi photos and how-to-style information.

The smaller-sized title will be on newsstands for three months and have a price of $9.99. Wenner will publish around 450,000 copies of the special, which has no advertising. The material of Us Hair is a 30 percent of Us Weekly’s beauty and fashion make up content.

Primarily it was planned to publish Us Style, a quarterly style magazine this spring, but then Wenner shelved that project until at least 2010.

“In this challenging economy, any commitment to a long-term venture is challenging,” admitted Vicci Lasdon Rose, the magazine’s publisher.

Us Hair is the second magazine’s bookazine. The first was the “Twilight”-themed book of which 450,000 copies were done in the first printing and which just entered a second printing of 100,000 issues.

Wenner has plans for a second “Twilight”-themed issue in the fall. And the magazine is constantly looking for some other subjects it can expand into bookazines in the future.

A three-time Emmy – and Golden Globe Award – winning American actor Jeremy Piven, who plays the profane in Entourage, asperse stereotyping uber agent sounds a bit like his temperament when he talks about his introduction to yoga.

He thought

“you have to wear a leotard. I mean, do you have to wear a bindi and hold incense,” Piven says in the August issue of Men’s Fitness.

Piven is dedicated to yoga.

I loved the way it made me feel. It opens you out and you get great twang. It’s incredible. Ari’s got some quick-twitch anger, and to do that repeatedly you have to come from a place of stillness.  It´s so funny because I´m naturally kind of calm.  To be healthy you have to have those dualities in your life.”

Actor is back at full speed after a fight with mercury poisoning caused him cancel his Broadway debut in Speed the Plow.

He says in the issue Men’s Fitness interview:

“I panicked early. I went to a doctor, and he said I have never seen levels of mercury like this. I think it was nature´s way of saying you’ve got to stop. The feeling I can equate it with is when you’ve slept for an hour but just continue to keep going. That´s the state I was always in. I haven´t touched a piece of fish in nine months, and Ive finally taken a break. I haven´t rested in 20 years. If you don´t balance your life, you´re going to be brought to your knees–that´s basically what happened to me.”

Being a cover girl for Instyle Hair this month, Leighton Meester shares all her fashion and beauty secrets, including her recent return to her natural blonde.

I’m a little serious, so I actually feel that being a brunette matches my personality more than the stereotypical blonde,” Leighton says.

She also commented her head accessories preferences:

I like headbands,” she says, “but I’m definitely not as obsessed with them as Blair is.”

What does she like to wear instead?

I do wear hats a lot,” she says. “In the summer I’ll wear a nice straw hat that blocks the sun, or I’ll wear a cap or fedora to cover up bad hair days.”

She also remembered her teenager years.

I was picked on because I was a four-eyes and a dork,” she reveals.

I had long tangled hair and wore hemp necklaces, baggy T-shirts and not-so-cute jeans.”

Thankfully the times have changed for the style icon.

I’ve grown up as far as the fashion world goes, but,” she says, “I still identify with that high school me.”
