Cher is one of the giant stars who did a lot of the experiments over her body, image and so on. The singer is intended to prolong her young look.
The 63-year-old star doesn’t begrudge the huge amount of money on facials and specialist treatments including LED light therapy and oxygen infusion techniques, to maintain her youthful appearance on the set of her new movie Burlesque.
A source told the National Enquirer magazine:
“Cher also has a spiritual adviser, homeopath and naturopath on standby to keep her mentally and physically centred. She calls them her ‘wellness crew’ – and they set her back another $20,000 over the course of a movie shoot.”
A clinical aesthetician at the Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Marilyn Martinis, explains some of the treatments saying that the LED light therapy would give the star’s skin a more youthful and toned up look.
She said:
“The LED treatments use a pulse light to treat dark pigmentation and improve the appearance of small blood vessels in the skin. The micro-current treatments stimulate facial muscles and temporarily tighten the face by using a galvanizing current.”
Previously Cher has described herself as the “poster girl” of cosmetic surgery.
Well, spending $2,500-a-week on a “wellness crew” is what she can afford, in fact.
