Oscar de la Renta takes Aim at Youth launching Fragrance via Facebook
Oscar de la Renta is going to launch its first fragrance in the past decade. L'Esprit d'Oscar by Oscar de la Renta hits the stores in a couple of weeks being launched via Facebook page! No more expensive promoting campaigns, just ‘like’ Oscar de la Renta’s Facebook page and get free fragrance sample… well, does it really mean the luxury fashion house takes aim at youth?
Oscar de la Renta apparently took aim at youth having decided to launch its first fragrance in the past decade using social network service for creating the buzz around the L’Esprit d’Oscar release. Well, we’ll wait and see!
The L’Esprit d’Oscar is described as floral-oriented fragrance with notes of orange flower, jasmine, tuberose, and citrus, based on musk, vetiver, heliotrope, and tonka bean.
It does smell amazing – I want more!… It’s quintessentially Oscar – really classic and elegant.

The first fragrance by Oscar de la Renta was launched in 1977 and became an absolute bestseller in more than 70 countries. But it was oriented more to the older generation; I hope now Oscar de la Renta has finally taken aim at youth with its latest L’Esprit d’Oscar.
