Gisele Bundchen for Chanel
Former Victoria’s Secret Angel and one of the richest women in the industry Gisele Bundchen lands yet another high-profile campaign but now in a beauty department. The supermodel who topped the Forbes’ top-earning models list last year has hanged her wings to pursue other ventures launching a lingerie line and appearing in numerous fashion ad campaigns and commercials. However this is not the first beauty gig for the model as Budnchen also represented Dolce & Gabbana’s fragrance The One and starred in a beauty campaign for Max Factor.
The model represents Chanel’s Les Biges mattifying powders that will hit the stores in March. The Chanel ad campaign was shot by Mario Testino showing fresh-faced Gisele posing and smiling against the powder-colored wall.
By the way, Gisele already has her own cosmetics brand, as her fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr, called Sejaa Pure Skincare. The line includes some creams, a mud mask and includes some natural ingredients but has a 100% recyclable packaging.
The ad campaign for the collection was shot back in Spring 2012 since which the model fronted three fashion ad campaigns for Givenchy, Versace, and Salvatore Ferragamo and graced covers of glossy magaznes like Vogue and Haper’s Bazaar.
Now more about the powders. The powders with SPF 15/PA+ have a natural matte finish and come five shades in a box with a mirror and a round brush.
The brand is serious about the beauty line. Numerous collections are released each year including such products as powder, blush, lipstick, lip gloss, eyeshadow and nail polish that is used for the runway during brand’s fashion shows.
