It was really the next natural step. I’d wanted to do fragrance from the beginning of Jimmy Choo. I want to accessorize a woman completely and fragrance is something a woman wears every day — it goes on her skin.

The ultra-voguish brand collaborated with Inter Parfums and the celebrated perfumer from IFF Olivier Polge to create their first fragrance that is described as “…feminine yet empowering, with a lot of sensuality to it…” Jimmy Choo fragrance composition will consist of green top notes, tiger orchid, sweet toffee caramel and Indonesian patchouli.

Tamara Mellon, the socialite who is back of the haute shoe line Jimmy Choo designed packaging and the flacon herself. And as well she is the face of the promoting Jimmy Choo fragrance campaign.

Jimmy Choo fragrance is expected to launch in February 2011 with body lotion and shower gel as a unit.
