Paris Fashion Week Fall 2015 Beauty

It’s amazing how many designers went for a fresh faced look to present their collections at Paris Fashion Week Fall 2015. You’d think winter would be the time for bright eyes and lips but not this time. The main trend of the whole week was minimal makeup that only concealed flaws and gave a tinge of color to cheeks or eyelids, always flesh toned, never overpowering. From Isabel Marant to Chloe designer brands sent models looking like they’ve just come from the frosty outdoors but their glowing skin gave away the makeup.

The key colors to choose for creating the fresh faced look are peach and pink depending on your skin tone and undertones. Accenting eyelids and cheeks can be enough but if you want to make eyes more expressive opt for mascara. Lip balm is the best for making the makeup look natural but you can add gloss for a more glamorous result.

Skipping the top lashes and coating only the lower ones makes for a quite a refreshing look. We could see it at Blugirl during Milan Fashion Week and in Parus designer Shiatzy Chen showed another version of this look where the top lashes were enhanced with only falsies while the lower lashes were heavily coated in mascara.

Though the podium was filled with fresh faced models some designers went for a bold eye look. Christian Dior was one of them. The models wore burgundy and grey eyeshadow heavily painted on their upper eyelids. Elie Saab went for a double winged eyeliner smokey eyes while at Chanel models wore extreme winged makeup.

At Ann Demeulemeester the models’ eyes were painted in a peculiar way placing a shadow under the eyes in the middle. At Leonard and Guy Laroche the inner corners of the eyes were heavily painted though making most models look tired.
