Oscars 2012: Hair And Makeup Looks

One of the most glamorous events was held yesterday in Hollywood gathering movie makers and stars, nominees and presenters on the red carpet. Looking glam the stars showed off their garments as well as beauty looks, so here are our favorite picks from the Oscar 2012 night.

Milla Jovovich looked stunning with rich matte red lips that contrasted her one-shoulder white gown. The actress wore a waved side-parted bob while her eye makeup was kept soft and tame with rosy blush matching the lipstick.

Rooney Mara’s graphic cut in stark black was sleeked and pulled back which nicely contrasted with a full fringe. The makeup emphasized the lips in red. A bit of eye shadow and mascara made a subtle emphasize on the eyes. The cheeks were swept and sculpted with blush.

Viola Davis looked gorgeous in her emerald green dress. The actress has sported her hair short and paired her eye makeup to the dress and earrings.

Kate Mara had her locks fixed in a romantic ‘do with loose waves and strands embellished with a hair accessory. Here makeup worked great to complete the romantic look. Not too much color but it’s still pretty noticeable. The eyes were lined with purplish shadows, reddish lipstick and matching blush gave it a finishing touch.

Stacy Keibler looked glam and glowing with her locks swept back at one side and waved on the other.  The actress choose to emphasize the eyes with shimmery eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes and purplish on the outer corners and mascara-coated lashes.

Bérénice Bejo sported a trendy braided ‘do. Her makeup focused on the eyes while the rest of it was left tame and soft.
