New York Fashion Week Fall 2014 Beauty Report
New York Fashion Week Fall 2014 proved that fashion isn’t that fleeting after all and it does come back in circles. Wet look hair and deep side part have been around in last different seasons but now they’re back and here to stay. Though naturalness is as much a fall trend as it is a spring one so go for nude palettes and lip products. Better yet, opt for lip balm. This spring it’s all about eyeliner and orange lipstick while the fall is even more relaxed in terms of hair and makeup.
Beauty Trends at New York Fashion Week

Many designers sent models walking almost makeup-free during New York Fashion Week. A bit of product to smooth down hair at the roots and a bit of concealer or foundation to even out the skin tone. That’s all you need to achieve most of the looks. It’s not even interesting.
Eyeliner is so versatile we could talk about it forever. Mara Hoffman showed us another way to wear it though. It’s fresh and futuristic.

Gold trend seems to settle in beauty fashion for the entire year. It’s been spotted at Neem Khan and Badgley Mischka both on eyes and nails.
Berry lipstick already seems to be a staple and it’s especially popular in fall. Opt for a sheer/lacquer texture if you have thin lips.
You can be sure that nude manicure is still very much ‘in’. It seems as if it always was. Red lipstick has also popped up here and there on the New York runways along with glittery nails and red eyeshadow that made a surprising comeback. Variations of buns, braids, and relaxed or wind-swept hairdos have prevailed in the hair department. Mara Hoffman went for the high ponytail with colored streaks for her models.
