Milan Fashion Week Beauty Report
Fashion week is full of ideas. Milan was bustling with the fashion crowd and lots of shows. Here is what was happening behind the scenes as the makeup artists completed the designer-envisioned looks.
Best of Milan Fashion Week Beauty
Marni Spring 2016
At Marni the artists went straight for drama with long false eyelashes making them the focus of the look. Tis might not be the most wearable makeup but with the fingerwaves makes a great Halloween flapper look.
Luisa Beccaria Spring 2016
Ombre lips at Luisa Beccaria look very easy to replicate and a great way to tone down a bright pink lipstick.
If one trend we gonna know for sure is going to be the hit of Spring 2016 it’s a 90′s dark brown lipstick with a hint of bordeaux. It is an amnesty on all kinds of old beauty rules, like the blue eyeshadow.
Aigner Spring 2016
Blue eyeshadow has made a huge comeback and isn’t going away. The designers seem to like it and with how it’s done nowadays we do too.
Aquilano.Rimondi Spring 2016
Aquilano.Rimondi went for white eyeliner applied to the inner corners of the eyes. Highlighting eyes this way is a great way to amplify your skin’s radiance.
Alberta Ferretti Spring 2016
The blushed cheeks are everything this season as is true for the next. Forget contouring, strobing with cheek color is all you need for glow and radiance besides, it looks a bit more natural.
Antonio Marras Spring 2016
When it comes to creative makeup we like something that is more wearable. At Antonio Marras the models wore pink eyeshadow with metallic center and black doets under the eyes along with the trendy dark lipstick. In everyday life wear one or the other and you will standout either way.
Pink eyeshadow can be wearable as seen at Ermanno Scervino. Black eyeliner and rose peach blush and lipstick make for an ultimately glamorous look.
Etro Spring 2016
Grey eyeshadow and creamy textures also popped up here and there in Milan. ‘It doesn’t have to be perfect’ is the key to this look.
Stella Jean Spring 2016
There was lots of loose hair at Milan shows as well as some hair accessorizing but we loved this Vikings’ Lagertha-style updo.
