11 Best Beauty Looks From NYFW Spring 2013
There was plenty to process over the weekend during New York Fashion Week. Here we’re bringing you 11 best beauty looks straight form Spring 2015 runways.
The main accent in these beauty looks is a brushstroke of neon liner and single strad braid. Peter Som collection’s makeup artist Yadim says: “We decided to do a brushstroke of neon orange color swooped out under the eyes. It’s super easy to do and it’s not supposed to be perfect”. Orange color was running throught the collection, so Yadim chose orange lipstick (yes, I said lipstick) and applied it using his fingers.
The Coach models got side-swept bangs from Guido Palau. He gave the models deep, retro-inspired look back from 70′s. Sweeping the hair aross the forehead Guido pinned it behind the ears and finished spraying the whole thing for airy volume.
Glowing skin, nude lips and the main accent – bright blue cat-eyes. Makeup artist Polly Osmond combined navy blue and bright white eyeliners for the heavy cat-eye seen at Honor.
A Détacher’s models got an interesting combination of Old Hollywood-style hair and star accent under the eyes. It gave them the dramatic beauty look and was one of the most memorable ones.
Single strad braids and bold eyebrows are the main accents in Tome’s beauty looks. Models looked glamorous, but the makeup wasn’t too eye-catching, so all the attention went to the collection.
Hairstylists decided to go with pigtail braids for Tanya Taylor’s collection models. There were a lot of braids on Spring 2015 runway, but these differ from the others, they are looser and look floaty. And adding the red lipstick to complete the look was the right idea. Very eye-catching.
Cushnie et Ochs
Cushnie et Ochs’s stylists got futurstic look for their models by choosing segmented ponytails and intense cat-eyes. It looked very showy and effective.
Carmen Marc Valvo
Loose, elegant chignons, bold strawberry lips and matte black nails were the main accents in Carmen Marc Valvo beauty looks from NYFW. Each model got white highlights in hair, so whatever the hair color the model had, all of them still looked harmoniously on the runway.
Nude nails and lips, violet lids and straightened hair were made for an eye-catching look on Derek Lam’s show.
Combining masculine accents with a feminine twist, stylists chose messy braids and smokey eyes for Marissa Webb’s models as runway looks.
Diane von Furstenberg
Hairstylist Orlando Pita was inspired by Brigitte Bardot style form 50′s and went heavy on volumizer and as a result he got perfect bombshell hair. Makeup artist Pat McGrath finished the bauty look with perfect slept-in smokey eye makeup.
