4 Bold and Daring Spring/Summer 2012 Makeup Trends

The Spring/Summer 2012 fashion week has introduced some bold and daring makeup trends. Most of them are not exactly to be worn on a daily basis but going bare-faced can be bold too, especially for those who use makeup everyday.

Metallic Eyes

Metallic eyes have been spotted at a several fashion shows but Fendi has presented the most bold and daring metallic eye makeup certainly not for daily wear. The black winged eyeliner is completed with silver or gold crust of crackled shadow on the upper lid covering up the eyebrow.

Bold Red Eyes

The fall dark-ish trend has popped on the Spring/Summer 2012 runway. The bold red shadows makes a dramatic and daring look. It also doesn’t quiet make the eyes look sick but rather bold and vampish.

Electric Lips

Bright colorful lips of unusual colors like electric blue, fuchsia and green lime have been spotted at Mary Katrantzou show. The statement lips went together with flawless complexion and bare eyes.

Bare Lashes/Face

Some designers have sent models on the runway without mascara wearing only soft pastel shades and lip color. Others went further than that and went for a natural-looking fresh complexion with help of very few cosmetic products.
