3 Beauty Looks That Stole The Show At Milan Fashion Week SS 2015
Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 is not over yet and still delighting us with new fresh beauty looks, but we already know who are the stars of the Week. Beauty looks that totally stole the show and are the most trending on Twitter. Some people adore them, some say it’s just too much, but still, everybody talks about them. Here are the most memorable beauty looks straight from Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 runways that totally rocked our world.
Biggest Beauty Looks From Milan Fashion Week
Dolce & Gabbana
Of course I’m starting with Dolce & Gabbana who brought us amazing beauty looks inspired by Spanish matador culture. The collection was very sensual and so the were hairstyles and makeup. Red ruby lips, flamenco-like hairdos, low chignons decorated with real flowers and beautiful jeweled crowns. These hairstyles were created by Guido Palau. To create flamenco-styled buns he parted the hair down the center and sprayed them all over, then he smoothed it back into a low chignon. For decorations he used real red roses and carnations without cutting down the leaves to match the fabrics in the collection.
This season Moschino invited us into hot pink Barbie world. Jeremy Scott - Moschino’s creative director wowed the fashion crowd with Barbie-themed SS 2015 collection. He said:
Every little girl and lots of little boys have grown up loving her. So she’s the cue for the collection this season. Barbie basically is the full package – plus she loves an evening dress which is very important for Moschino.”
Models rocked voluminous platinum blond hair (mostly wigs), long fake lashes and bubble gum pink lip gloss. Make-up artist Lucia Pieroni said that she wanted the models’ skin to look “like a luxury plastic, but elegant”. Lucia added two types of false lashes for extra “fluffiness” and finished the look with pink or red lipstick.
Light, bright and fun collection was presented by our favorite twin brothers designers from Canada Dan and Dean Caten - DSquared2. Models wore natural makeup and sleek ponytails during the show. But that wasn’t the main accent of the look. All the looks were styled with nerdy black-framed glasses that looked like the ones the twin brothers were wearing while giving a bow at the end of the show. These nerdy glasses became one of the most memorable and wanna-have-it details for spring.
