Why Working Out More Often Is Better?
Working out every day or four-five times a week might seem like an overkill for some, especially those who work on their feet and have physically demanding jobs, but there is less and less of such jobs and we are sitting longer and becoming less active with each year.
Add to the equation a diet in calorie-rich foods and there go our waistlines.
Well, here’s why exercising every day might come in handy. An hour of good sweating is more than enough to maintain muscle mass and make sure you sweat off a small calorie excess.
With such regimen you can allow yourself a bit more in terms of food, but you should still favor fruits and veggies over simple carbs and make sure you consume enough protein.
As for the workouts, keep it simple. Lift weights 2-3 times a week. Do pure cardio 3 days a week. And throw in some circuit or HIIT workouts for good measure whenever you feel like you’re getting bored.
