Safe model diet
In the century when at least half of the girls worldwide are obsessed with beauty and slimness and there are so many food choices that it is often too hard to choose what to eat one should know what to have to look as gorgeous as a model.
The CFDA (The Council of Fashion Designers of America) have issued a food guide to show models and ordinary girls longing to have perfect bodies a healthy diet.
So, here it is, the magic diet that is both effective in slimming and healthy for an organism.
The first thing you should remember is to have breakfast. It is important as you need energy for the first part of the day which is the most active usually.
Power Breakfast: high-fiber cereal with low-fat milk; yogurt with wheat germ; scrambled eggs with whole-grain toast or pita; omelets stuffed with veggies and reduced-fat cheese; toasted whole-grain English muffin topped with peanut butter (or few tomato slices and melted low-fat cheese). And make sure you eat fresh fruit!
Breakfast is great but it isn’t enough for the whole day. So ensure you eat throughout the day, every few hours, when you feel you need it. You can have: yogurt or cottage cheese with fresh fruit; peanut-butter sandwich on whole-wheat bread; turkey or grilled-chicken wrap with veggies; soy crisps; trail mix; granola bars; nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios, soy nuts); sunflower seeds, fresh fruits and string cheese.
And of course you need to drink, at least to hydrate your beautiful skin: nine cups of fluids per day, more if you’re very active or working in a hot environment. Carry a bottle of water with you. Also consider water-rich fruits and veggetables: apples, berries, melons, peaches, pears, plums, oranges, asparagus, broccoli, carrots, celery, cucumbers, bell peppers, spinach. Coffee and cold/hot tea (any flavor) are also permitted and encouraged.
I’m sure you know that some foods work to improve the condition of your skin, others to make your hair better, etc. So, when you see some ‘part’ of your body needs support you should know what food to eat.
Food for your hair: skinless chicken and turkey, fish and seafood, pork tenderloin, lean beef, eggs, beans, lentils, soy (soybeans, soy nuts, tofu).
Food for your skin: broccoli, grapefruit, bell peppers, mango, oranges, strawberries, kale, sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, butternut, acorn squash, cantaloupe, apricots.
Food for your teeth: nonfat/low-fat yogurt/milk, low-fat cheese, fortified soy milk, frozen yogurt, low-fat ice cream, beans, broccoli.
Now girls, you’re equipped with all the knowledge needed to keep beautiful and young! Your appearance is in your hands!
