Thom Evans Covers Men’s Health Magazine’s November 2012 Issue
Thom Evans for Men’s Health Magazine’s November 2012
Thom Evans, a former Scottish rugby union player, covers Men’s Health November 2012 looking amazing. Evans, who dates model Kelly Brook talked with the magazine about fitness, no-carb diet, and his feelings when first meeting his model girlfriend.
On eating vs. training: ‘I tried the whole no-carbs thing once. I only lasted four days and I felt awful. It’s nonsense, frankly. If you’re training the way you should be for the sort of gains you want, then you can get away with eating a lot of things that you technically shouldn’t.
‘A lot of guys who don’t work hard enough or often enough get too caught up in it, especially some of the models I work with now. Don’t be that guy. Train more, eat well.’
The super-fit Evans thinks that you don’t necesserily have to go to the gym to work out and stay fit.
He gave a workout advice: ‘For overall definition, stair jumps are hands-down the best thing you can do. What’s more, you don’t have to be an athlete to do them and you don’t need any equipment.
‘Each bound naturally makes you tense almost every muscle you’ve got – your lower body to force you upwards and your upper body to propel you forwards. I did this when I was on holiday for a fortnight and it got me absolutely shredded.’
