Alison Sweeney who is by the way already a mother of two, looking toned and fit, has recently appeared on the cover of Shape magazine April 2012 issue. Beside showing off her incredible body, the 35-year-old the Biggest Loser host has shared some of her secrets to keep slim and healthy.
Alison Sweeney on workout mixing: My favorite cardio right now is indoor cycling classes, and I also love to hike and run and walk my dog outside. I also work out with a trainer and do resistance training. I think it’s really good to try all sorts of different stuff.
Alison Sweeney on calorie counting: The Biggest Loser has provided me with so much information that I had no idea about: Calories counts, serving sizes, food industry tricks. There was one episode where we had a tiny personal pizza and the calories per serving wasn’t bad, but then you find out there are eight servings in one pizza. It’s unbelievable!
Alison Sweeney on being healthy: Being healthy is a lifestyle, not a diet. Fad diets or cutting out certain foods forever inevitably sets you up to fail. Instead, think about being healthy for the rest of your life. Don’t put yourself in a situation where the second you’re tempted by something you consider it a failure and give up on the whole thing. When someone makes fresh cookies, have one, and don’t feel guilty about it.
