People say that one learns on his own mistakes (in love, profession, family), but if the point is skin care, learn from the experience of your predecessors. This post is about the mistakes you can stay away from relying onto the advices of the elder friends.

How to avoid the mistakes and care about the skin

    Mistake #1

Lots of girls don’t know their skin type as there are few problems that bother them. And they buy the products that they saw their moms, friends used. Meanwhile the choice of the cosmetics is quite an intimate case. There shouldn’t be any fashion following, but only your skin preferences.

Do you know how many problems you can get applying oily creams onto the ? Skin pores simply can’t breathe and be free from the dirt. And what if you put on the drying creams having the normal one?

Conclusion: diagnose your skin type. There are plenty of on-line resources to help you. For example, you can go to the global cosmetic brands sites and pass the tests determining your skin type. Probably, these tests are trustworthy as the brands are interested in selling you the right product so that you could be satisfied with their cosmetics and become their resident buyer. This is the first what you can do staying in the computer chair.

The second one is you should consult the specialist. The consultant-dermatologists provide some perfume and cosmetic salons with free first consultation. Remember, that you should be curious about your skin!

    Mistake #2

There are not many girls who know how to clean the skin believing that soap is enough at the age of 18-20. Tightened skin they take as the cleanness indicator. And this is a big mistake! Good soap that matches your skin type shouldn’t dry or tighten the skin. You are lucky if your soap is half creamy. But what if it’s not?

Conclusion: know more about your soap. If your soap peels the lipidic layer daily, if the pH isn’t neutral, if there are some irritations, know that all these will affect your face in the future. Find the products that can clean your face skin harmlessly.

    Mistake #3

This paragraph makes sense for those who uses or is going to do it. The conception of modern demakeup is a two-phase procedure. If you use only a wad with cosmetic milk and then wash the face with soap, then you do recklessly! This sort of demakeup choke up the pores and doesn’t care about the skin at all.

Conclusion: clean the skin twice! The first phase should be accomplished with the special removal products (milk or oil), and the second phase is so to say cleaning after cleaning – you should take away the rest of the first-phase-cleaning cosmetics. That would be great if you use a special oil-free gel, mouse or tonic matching your skin type.

How to care about your skin

    Mistake #4

If you skin is pretty dry or peels off regularly, don’t underestimate it. It’s the first sign that your skin is in need of additional nourishment. Lend a hand! Nourish the places that peel most. Apply the nourishing creams onto he problematic skin places. The rest of the skin doesn’t require another cream as it copes to balance the oil without any help. However, modern creams meet the requirements of affecting wholesomely the various skin areas.

English-Nicaraguan jewelry designer Jade Jagger feels good about and doesn’t even think about as growing old can offer you some things differ from youth but great anyway.

English designer Jade Jagger grows old -gracefully

The daughter of Rolling Stone legend Sir Mick Jagger and his ex-wife Bianca Jagger, Jade watches carefully what she does with her skin and organism in general thus enjoying the age changes.

The mother-of-two told Britain’s Hello! magazine:

“I don’t worry about getting older. I’m not interested in Botox or getting a facelift. There comes a point where you have to let go and accept that you are no longer the youngest and that you have other things to offer.”

    Jade Jagger added on gracefully:

“I want to grow old gracefully. I imagine myself going back to painting and living in the countryside.”

The 38-year-old beauty also defended her decision to allow her two teenage daughters, Assisi and Amba, to wear hot pants and high heels in a promotional video for one of her clothing lines.

    She said:

“I think the criticism was very silly. First of all, I don’t think they ever wear provocative clothes and, in any case, I am usually there to keep an eye on them.”

The British actress, Thandie Newton easily maintains her beautiful glow using the simple long-term skincare regime. The secret is in treating and moisturizing skin well the way her mother taught her one day.

The 2012 actress Thandie Newton's skincare regime

    Thandie Newton said:

“As soon as I was old enough to understand about moisturiser, my mum plunged a bottle into my hand.”

    She also added:

“It’s taught me to love treating my skin well – I love putting the same care into my skin as I would my body. My skincare regime is simple: good food and lots of moisturiser. Olay Total Effects is usually all I need.”

The face of the Olay Total Effects range plans to share the moisturizing advice to her own daughters Ripley, 10, and Nico, 6, when they grow old enough.

    She told Stylist magazine:

“I will tell my daughters, just as my mother told me, to treat yourself as a holistic entity: respect your body and you will be beautiful and celebrate that with a bit of glitter.”

Treating her body with respect, the 2012 actress, revealed her opinion of make-up saying that it should be worn as an “accessory”.

    She said:

“I think of make-up as an accessory, just as jewellery would be. It’s a way to accentuate the attributes you already have, after all.”

Thandie Newton’s skin care skills deserve being followed, to my mind, as the competent knowledge backed by the real example is the best proof of what she claims.

The Parachute singer Cheryl Cole is said rising the requests of dimple surgeries. The girls want to look like their fave celebrity and go under the knife to get the smiling dimples just like the singer’s. It’s plastic surgery of first water.

    Cheryl Cole's dimples surgery

Despite the fact that the experts are far from being sure about the procedure warning that its long-term effects are unknown, one firm said they have seen an 11 per cent rise in inquiries in the past two months alone.

The dimples simply can’t look entirely natural, as they remain permanently rather than appearing only when you grin. The dimpleplasty operation involves making a tiny cut in the skin to create a small depression.

A stitch is then used to tack the underside of the skin down to a deeper layer and hold it in place. Once the suture dissolves, permanent scar tissue will remain to maintain the dimple.

A spokesman for plastic surgeons SurgiCare said:

“There is a worrying rise in demand for “designer dimples” as women go to ever extreme lengths to look like their favourite celebrities, including Cheryl Cole. The growing phenomenon has hit UK shores after a rapid rise in popularity in America.”

    And added:

“However, designer dimples are akin to permanent scarring and could turn to designer disasters as the face begins to droop with age.”

About 88 per cent of requests have come from people wishing to recreate dimples in the face, the firm said. About ten per cent of enquiries have come from men who wish to create a chin cleft, and the left two per cent – from women wanting to re-create dimples on their lower back which have been lost after weight gain.

The moral is that you can try to look like your idol, but your own appearance will always stay inimitable.

English actress Joan Collins prefers wearing rather than undergoing and having Botox injections. Joan believes that is as essential for women as chirrup for sparrows. Make up is the only one that helps her look good (but don’t you think that Botox will can make a converse effect in her advanced age).

Joan Collins wearing makeup instead of Botox

    She said:

“Botox, I think, is poison, I would never put it into my face, and I’m needle-phobic .

The Island in the Sun star said on caring of her face skin:

“I spend a lot of time keeping my face out of the sun and taking care of my skin and wearing make-up. I’m appalled at the amount of women who don’t bother to take care of their skin. I was at Ascot, and there are these women in beautiful hats, very nice clothes, and they haven’t got a shred of make-up on their faces.”

The 77-year-old actress also claims she is not keen on the look of extremely thin Hollywood actresses.

    She told the Daily Telegraph:

“I’m not a fan of that look, are you? In Hollywood, the girls are forced by the studios to look extremely thin. I don’t know why. When I first went to Hollywood years and years ago, I was 126 lbs and they made me go down to 119. Now 119 lbs is considered fat.”

Joan Collins saw various fashion trends through the years of her life, but the thing she learnt is that health and good-looking requires hard and persistent care.
