One of the world’s best nail cosmetics brand OPI is preparing for the Winter 2010 season. The collection is inspired by Burlesque, Christina Aguilera’s upcoming movie.
The collection is full of glittery and shimmery colors and stage aroma continuing the magic shades first brought to your attention through the Alice In Wonderland OPI collection.
The nail Winter 2010 collection is available in September this year.
Trendy make up range launched by the British brand TopShop is available already in Europe. The line includes the duets of eye shadows, colorful mascara, eyelids pencils, glitters, lipsticks, lip glosses (liquid, creamy and balmy), creamy blushes, toners, highlighters, 28 hues of nail polishes.
Hope that the collection is up to the mark as well. The price ranges around $20 for a piece.
The nail industry leader O.P.I. has created a new collection dedicated to the sequel cartoon Shrek Forever After. The collection consists of six different new trendy colors that are to finish the summer images of the fashion-conscious ladies. The nail polishes are to be released right at the Shrek Forever After in 3D world premiere.

Japanese motif from Guerlain – Cherry Blossom Collection
The face of the new Japanese make up collection became Natalia Vodianova who is far from being Japanese.

It’s a precedent for Estée Lauder! For the first time the illustrious brand partnered with a fashion designer. And the lucky one is Derek Lam. They teamed up to create a beauty look for a Fashion Week show Fall/Winter 2010 – the make-up and nail look for his runway show, to be more exact.
Blue eyes, matte skin, bare cheeks, copper lips and neutral nails held sway the catwalk at Capitale, where the designer showcased his American West-inspired collection.
Estée Lauder Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux led a team of 15 artists to create the look for the 22 models to complement the designer’s inspiration, while famed manicurist Jin Soon Choi and her team polished their nails with a new color that was tested backstage.
In a press release, Pecheux said:
“When Derek showed me the fabrics that inspired his Fall 2010 collection – bold and muted tones mixed with earthy pigments including terracotta, greens and browns – I thought the make-up shades should be complimentary. So we chose a blend of bold blue shadows on the eyes, shimmering copper lips, and flawless, matte skin created with a light foundation — an on-trend beauty preview of what we will see for Fall 2010.”

Winter requires special care and switch of the basic moistening creams for the anti-cold ones. But if you haven’t changed everything from summer time, then use at least these easy tips to keep your skin, lips, hair and so on healthy and undamaged. Because sometimes it’s enough to use a couple of interesting ideas that can care about you well.

Lips
If your lips are dry and peel off, rub them with usual Vaseline using a wet piece of fabric or a towel. That will remove the dead cells and prevent them from getting dry again.
The lips color and smoothness usually fades in winter. So you can use a lemon juice to restore the natural lips hue.
And try to control yourself! I mean, if you have that horrible habit to lick the lips. The comments are unnecessary, I suppose.
Around-eyes-skin
Don’t be surprised at people who wear sunglasses in winter. They probably do right. The sunglasses protect the tender skin around the eyes from cold winds and snowfalls.

If baths are contra-indicated to you, then you can take soothing herbal teas: valerian, mint, sweet-Mary and peony, or polysaturated acids. Polyvitamins with tocopherol (vitamin E) are great as well. Pure water with lemon goes well too.
