We keep talking about the fall harvest that is wholesome for the organism as a whole and for the beauty providing elements. The topic for today is quince!
Ripe quince is rich in 12% of sugar (fructose, glucose, sucrose), 0.47-2.52% of organic acids (apple, winy, lemon), tanning agents (1%), pectin (up to 2.9%), vitamin C, B1, B2, carotene, amino acids, catechine, potassium, a lot of microelements including iron, copper, boron, manganese, aluminum, nickel and so on. The seeds of this fruit also contain many necessary elements.
- Ripe fruit and seeds of quince are widely used in cosmetics. You can make various lotions and masks with this fruit that perfectly nourishes the skin.
Massage with a piece of ripe quince effects soothingly onto the wrinkled and aging skin.
- Grate quince and squash its juice. Rub the oily face skin with wad wet with its juice.
- Quince juice whitens freckles greatly.
- Take ½ glass of quince juice and add the same amount of Spiritus Camphoratus – camphor spirit and 1 beaten up egg white. Rub your face with this lotion if you have oily and open pored face skin. It makes it tender, smooth and velvety.
- Cut quince and pour it with 1 glass of vodka or 20% alcohol. Draw it for 7-10 days and then filter. Wipe the face skin with the lotion or apply the compresses for 15-20 minutes avoiding eye and lip zones. Rinse the face with warm water after the procedure. This lotion is recommended for the oily and porous face skin.
- Cut ripe quince into the small pieces and pour boiled water into it so that it could cover the pieces. Pour it out i 2-3 hours and add 0.15 gr vodka (or spirits) per 1.5 gr liquid. Rub flabby skin with the lotion instead of washing or after it.
- Take the rind from 2 quinces and pour it with vodka or 20% alcohol. Filter in 2 weeks and add the same amount of rose petals infusion. This lotion tones up the skin and smoothes out the wrinkles. Apply some nourishing skin cream after rubbing the face and neck with the lotion.
- Take ripe quince and grate it. Then add 1 tbsp boiling water, 1 tea spoon oat four and starch. Put the mixture onto the face for 15-20 min, and then rinse it off with room temperature water. The mask is recommended for all skin types.
- The gruel of the grated quince heals acne perfectly.
- Mix 1 tbsp honey with 1 egg yolk, 1 tbsp vegetable oil and 1 tea spoon quince juice. Stir it thoroughly and apply onto the face for 15-20 minutes. It nourishes, tones up and sooths the agin skin.
- Grate quince and then mix it with 1 beaten up egg white. Put the mixture onto the face skin and leave it there for 10-15 minutes. The mask is usually used to tone up the deeply wrinkled skin.
- Grate quince and then mix the gruel with cream and 1 yolk (in equal proportions). Apply the mask if you have dry and normal skin types.
- Blend 1 tbsp butter with 1 egg yolk, 1 tea spoon honey and 1 tbsp grated quince and stir it until you get creamy consistence. Put it onto the face for 20-30 minutes. The mask is recommended for normal skin.
- Take 16 dr quince seeds and soak them with 1 glass of water. Bring it to boil and filter immediately. Warm mucous decoction is advised to be rubbed into the scalp if you have oily hair. After hair dries off, rinse it with warm or hot water. Take a week session of the procedure.
- Pour boiled water onto the quince seeds at a ratio of 1 to 50; leave that for 15 minutes and then filter. Use the ultimate infusion to treat burnt places. The procedure should be taken 3-4 times in succession at an interval of 10-15 minutes.
