Deborah Lippmann Creates Nail Polish Inspired by ‘Girls’
It’s definitely a thing now to make cosmetics inspired by pop culture like movies and TV series. Twilight had its makeup line as well does the True Blood. Nicole by O.P.I recently announced a nail polish collection inspired by the Modern Family. Deborah Lippmann who by the way produced nail polishes for True Blood series now presents the nail polish collection inspired by the HBO hit show ‘Girls’.
Lena Dunham, Girls’ star and creator partnered with Deborah Lippmann to create four shades for each character of the show, Hapless Hunter Green for Hannah, Prim and Proper Pink for Marnie, Virtuous Vivid Violet for Shoshanna and Bohemian Burgundy for Jessa.
Deborah Lippmann’s colors are irreverent and classy and I’ve always coveted them (and stolen them from my mother), so who better to embody the ‘Girls’ spirit in polish form. I’ve been wearing Hannah like it’s going out of style,
said Dunham who plays Hannah. The nail polish that will launch in January is available for pre-order at Deborah Lippmann website.
Meanwhile take a look at Deborah Lippmann’s latest collections Christmas in The City and a Glitter Nail Polish collection that includes nine sparkly shades like burgundy, turquoise, bronze, dark red, silver with blue sparkles, fuchsia with purple sparkles, dark blue, blue and green sparkles, and multicolor sparkles.
