Best of Nail Art from Milan Fashion Week
Milan Fashion Week seems to be very productive for setting trends for Fall 2013! Today we are going to take a look at the most brightest moments in terms of manicures presented during the Milan Fashion Week. First, we must note that MFW was not very experimental in terms of nail art, as there is a definite tendency for nude nails and certain bold colors which were seen as well.
For instance, the most obvious manicure, most often viewed during the Milan Fashion Week is the transparent or nude manicure. This type of manicure was visible during the catwalks of Blumarine, Aigner, Cristiano Burani, Ermanno Scervino, Genny, Marco de Vincenzo.
There are also distinct differences between the transparent manicures, as seen in Blumarine and Cristiano Burani, as opposed to nude manicures of Genny and Marco de Vincenzo.
However, as weird as it might seem, there were also bolder variations of manicure, most notable the black and dark purple manicures as seen during the shows of Iceberg and Fendi. However, the most popular color was the crimson one, which was really abundant in the shows of many of the designers.
To name a few, the crimsons were worn during the shows of Byblos, Dsquared2, Giorgio Armani, John Richmond and Luisa Beccaria. The most prominent crimson manicure appeared during the catwalks of Dscquared2 and John Richmond.
The brighter version of crimson, namely the scarlet red manicure appeared during the runways of Aquilano Rimondi and Roccobarocco. This shows the difference from the London Fashion Week shows, where scarlet red was more prominent.
Of course, these were not only mentioned above hues, but also some crème hues featuring cloudy grey, metallic grey and purple. These were present during the catwalks of Massimo Rebbechi, Gabriele Colangelo and Just Cavalli.
