Nails are an easy accessory. Simply painting them can add to your look and if you invest a little more time and effort they can easily become a fashion statement. This season a manicure is dark and simple. The nail shape doesn’t change for another season. The shorter and more natural the better. Although lovers of long pointy nails will also be trendy sporting those little daggers.

Many shows had models wear marsala manicures. At some the lips and tips matched perfectly at others models wore black, dark green, charcoal, and navy polishes although nude and clear popped up here and there.

Simple Nail Art
Simple nail art is somewhat a trend of its own. Not overloaded with detail it’s often done with two or three colors and involves simple geometric shapes rather than full-flegded artistic drawings.

Metallics are in again and it’s all gold. Well, actually silver and bronze were spotted at Creatures Of The Wind show in New York and at Just Cavalli in Milan respectively but the gold is definitely the hit of the season.

If you want something really nail artsy then the artists suggest abstract prints. They easy to create and you can use more than two or three colors. No regular patterns, just a splash of colors intertwining in a completely random manner. That’s what you should aim for anyway.
