Face Lace Appliques by Phyllis Cohen
Makeup artist Phyllis Cohen has created a collection of amazing lace makeup appliques that embellish the face with intricate twirls and wispy lace patterns. The stick on Face Lace makeup line has debuted during Fall/Winter 2012 London Fashion Week at Corrie Nielsen show.
The collection of beautiful and dramatic makeup lace will be available at the end of March. The line consists of 15 products that includes the ranges of masks, the appliques for eyelids, the ‘Playsheets’ range that can be arranged by oneself, and a range of ‘Mehndoodles’ that can be worn on any part of the face.
The stick on appliques are said to attach with help of a hypoallergenic adhesive backing. Phyllis Cohen has a MA in Fine Arts and has worked with many celebrities including David Bowie and Alice Cooper, photographers like Mert and Marcus and such editorials as Vanity Fair, Elle, Vogue and many others.

Most of the Face Lace can be worn with little makeup. Eyelid appliques can be accentuated with eyeliner and some lip color. The Face Lace makeup is quite intricate so it is important not to overdo with eye makeup. Subtle winged eyeliner as shown in the promo pictures works well.
The Face Lace makeup works as stickers with adhesive backing and protective paper that has to be peeled off before attaching the applique to the skin. Even out and prepare the skin before applying Face Lace. When removing the applique from the eyes make sure to peel off along the brow hair growth direction just in case.
When applying the appliques to the eyes and brows it is better not to line brows prior application to help the pattern stand out better. Check out all the designs at Face-Lace.come website and of course share your thoughts on Face Lace in the comments.
