Dark Lips for Fall 2010
Dark lips are back for Fall 2010. To accentuate but cover your lips in mystery shade them with dark colored lipstick and leave your eyes nude or in a light brown haze. Charming dark lips are very autumnal and voguish. Try on these cool looks designers chose for their shows.
Basic tips: choose the right dark shade for your skin tone, choose from raspberry, wine, and other similar shades. Choose nude makeup for your eyes. Touch your lashes with mascara or apply a bit of brown solid shadow on your eyelids and blend well to create haze rather than rich makeup.
Proenza Schouler Autumn/Winter 2010 show chose Charred Red and purple for blondes. It is very important to find the right shade that would compliment your hair color, skin tone and features.
If you want to accentuate your skin fairness with lipstick then stick with black as did Missoni. Create a fine nude base to give all the attention to the lips and add a bit of gloss for a more alluring vampy look.
My favorite look would be the fading dark lips as shown by Christian Dior paired with orange golden multi-shade eye makeup. Raspberry shade intense on the inside of the lips and fading toward the lip line and corners is mind-blowing. Add curls and your are a ready vintage star. Sophisticated multi-shade eye makeup is simply a masterpiece. A bright orange-gold at the inner corners of eyes and brown at the outer corners.
Rock these looks to show your classy side and simply feel gorgeous wearing these rich deep tones a la vamps and goths.
