3 Holiday Beauty Looks That Will Make You a Star
Holidays are the perfect excuse to rock sequins and lace and get creative with your makeup. You can even do both at the same time and still look completely appropriate. When it comes to holiday makeup we still think that choosing between accentuating lips and eyes is best as to not overdo it in a festive get up department.
Holiday Makeup Ideas
While red lipstick is a gorgeous classic we figured it’s been written about so many times, we’d rather focus on the eyes.
Fan/Fluffy False Lashes
Really thick fan lashes like Katy Perry usually dons or fluffy, a bit feathery ones can make your eyes stand out really well. So if you want to go with a ‘gaze to amaze’ kind of look but don’t feel confident with eyeshadow and brush these false eyelash styles will do the job the best.
Glitter for the eyes is like sequins for your clothes. Choose the glitter in a color that complements your eyes and outfit and make it stick with a clear gel mascara and a liner brush. You can also find ready made glitter eyeliners but they may need some additional products and techniques to be used to really stand out.
Halloween isn’t the only holiday you can wear an unusual makeup. Holiday is a perfect occassion to dress up your face in something less than usual like a rhinestone line above your eyebrows or below your eyes, a dotted pattern on your temples or nose bridge, or stars shooting from your eyes. Don’t go with an old tired smokey eye when you can look festive, mysterious, and magical all at the same time. That’s what the holidays are about, right?
