How to look perfect on your wedding day
Wedding is a special event in a woman’s life. You want to look your best in that awfully beautiful dress. Well, in order to look perfect on your wedding day the usual makeup-hairdo-dress formula simply isn’t enough. Preparing yourself for the big moment can make you glow so that you will look at your wedding pictures with pleasure, joy and happiness. Wedding planning is a lot of stress and you need to use some tips and tricks to look perfect on your wedding day.
If you plan your wedding yourself divide the things you do among several people. It may be your fiance and friends, or parents and relatives. Professional wedding organization can take a lot off your shoulders, but if you have to do everything yourself know how to reduce stress. Picking out some stylish mother of the bride dresses would be a good place to start.
Stress has a bad impact on your sleep and lack of sleep takes away your beauty and youth. Learn to relax, reduce stress by focusing on the positive sides of the things. Once a week take a good time off your wedding schedule and indulge a good warm bath with sea salts or aromatic oils. Listen to the music, lit the incense or candles. Think about something other than your wedding plan.
Follow healthy diet. Start several months before wedding. Fresh fruit and vegetables and lean meat will make you look and feel good. Be cautious about big weight fluctuations or you may need to get a new dress. Looking perfect is easy when you get enough sleep. Avoid stress, learn how to relax and try sleep at least 8 hours a day.
Skin care. Follow a beautiful skin plan, which includes cleansing, mild face massage, may be a visit to cosmetologist or dermatologist. If you have a skin prone to acne and breakouts your first move should be toward the healthy diet. No oily and fried foods.
If you have a zits right on your wedding day use some toothpaste (not gel) on it. It will reduce redness and dry the pimple so you will able to easily cover it up with concealer. Alternating hot and cold compresses on your zits will also reduce redness, a drop of salycilic acid or the product that contains it applied on the zits will kill the bacteria.
Hair removal is also important as you surely want to look good in that bridal lingerie. It doesn’t really matter what you use razor, warm wax or laser hair removal your skin should be treated well to be silky and smooth. It may be not your favorite method but reconsider warm wax over razor as it gives smoother, silkier touch. In order to remove all hair seek professional service rather than at-home waxing.
A way to the perfect skin is moisturizing and cleansing. To avoid and remove ingrown hair after hair removal use mild scrub to peel off dead skin cells, then moisturize your skin. Do it before and after hair removal.
White teeth is another key to looking perfect on your wedding day. You might want to reduce the tannin-containing products for several months before the wedding or ideally get rid of them at all. You will see how your teeth are becoming whiter. If you cannot do that then brush your teeth regularly and wash your mouth after every meal and cup of coffee. Washing your mouth with a warm water or mild mouthwash will protect your teeth from cavities as well as will keep them white.
Eating raw coarse fruit like apples will help cleaning your teeth after meals or drinks. In case if all of the above doesn’t help much try whitening toothpastes or whitening treatments. Use toothpaste once a week, as it is very harsh on teeth enamel. And you can’t consume tannin-containing foods after whitening treatment because it can cause bad teeth staining.
Of course, looking perfect also means feeling comfortable and fabulous. Get a test of your wedding hairdo and makeup two weeks before wedding. You have to know how you will look like even if you don’t know what you want to do with your hair and face. Try different options with your hair and makeup stylist if it’s necessary. Think through all the dress details and accessories so that your hairdo and makeup fitted in.
Do your mani-pedi a little before the wedding. Opt for comfortable nail length so that there were no accidents with your mile-long nails. Though be prepared for ‘accidents’ and unforeseen circumstances as zits, broken nails and some forgotten stuff. Don’t panic, try to fix what you can, if all else fails just take a deep breath and go on. It’s your day and nothing can ruin it.
