Penelope Cruz Styled for Golden Globes
Penelope Cruz was one of the stunning looking and glam stars on the red carpet of Golden Globe 2010 held last Sunday. That was partially due to the Armani fabulous black dress and due to her make-up artist Scott Barnes who recently put on sale his beauty book About Face (I’ve mentioned about it already).

The actress returned from a trip abroad and wanted to recreate her holiday glow. So, the result was obvious.
He told People magazine:
“She had just come back from her vacation. And she said, ‘I want to be tanned. I want this eye.’ She found it in my book, it was Irina, the sexy Russian model who does the Guess! Jeans ads. And Penelope had remembered a magazine cover I did with Uma Thurman. Uma was really tanned and she wanted to look really tanned, because she had just come back from vacation.”
Having her skin tone on, Penelope wanted her brunette locks to match and opted for soft “movie star glamour” curls.

Hair stylist Oribe said:
“I just tried to wave her hair. She wanted to wear it down for the Armani dress. It was just movie star glamour. Wavy, but not too wavy. Just stylised nicely. We did it at her home. Real casual and easy and we got her ready probably in an hour and a half, nails and everything done.”
He added:
“She’s amazing, just a regular girl. Scott brought his book, showed her what he wanted to do. She loved it. It just went very smoothly. Beautiful eye, natural skin, it was a different makeup for her really special. It made her look really fresh.”
