Lacoste Taps Amy Adams As Face of New Fragrance
Amy Adams was chosen to represent Lacoste’s new fragrance from Eau de Lacoste collection. The actress was chosen for her ‘elegance, spontaneity and effortless style’, the brand explained. Adams in turn said that:
I’m so excited to be the face of Lacoste’s newest fragrance for women. Lacoste has long been established as an iconic brand and I’m honoured to be a part of their latest campaign.
The TV and print ads will surface in January. The fragrance opens up with the top notes of Calabrian mandarin and Bergamot, white pineapple. The heart notes consist of rose, pineapple flower, orange flower and jasmine sambad, and a base of vanilla, sandalwood, vetyver, and Peru balsam.
In other perfume news One Direction (yes, the boy band) is planning to launch women’s fragrance with Olivann Beauty the details on which will be known early next year. Fashion designer and Project Runway winner Christian Siriano is also launching a fragrance for women ‘who is stylish, sophisticated, and powerful’.
Katy Perry signs another perfume deal to create a collection of fragrances to add to her existing Meow and Purr scents which she also wants to make ‘more accessible worldwide’.
