How to Tame Frizzy Hair
Frizzy hair is a result of dry air and hair. When our hair gets in contact with hats or any other fabrics the friction between them causes the positive charge in hair and when each hair pushes from another we get frizzy hair. Winter is a time when air is dry especially inside the house or office. So here are some tips on how to tame frizzy hair.
In order to tame frizzy hair we need to hydrate it. Masks are really great at doing just that as well as they are easy to make at home.
- one part egg
- one part mayonnaise
- one part olive oil
Mix all the ingredients to get a thick paste. Apply the mask to your hair, wrap with foil and towel and wait 30 minutes.
Mix together sage, almond oil, rosemary, and jojoba oil. Apply to your hair and wrap with foil or shower cap and towel and leave on for 30 minutes.
Avoid using blow dryer very often in winter as it dehydrates hair. But when you do moisturize it before and after blowout. Apply anti-frizz cream or gel to your hair after styling it.
Rinse the masks especially those that contain eggs with cool water. It is generally recommended to end your shower with cool water so the skin and hair don’t get dehydrated very quickly.
Lavender and rose oils are good anti-frizz products. Oil your comb with one or two drops of either oils before combing your hair.
Make sure your comb is made of either silicon, anti-static plastic, or wood. Ionic blow dryers reduce frizzy hair and heat damage while drying your hair faster.
There are also various cosmetic products against frizzy hair including anti-frizz styling gels and anti-frizz masks. So with some special tools and our tips you will tame your frizzy hair very quickly.
