Hairstyles depending on forehead shape
Pretty often I see girls with attractive facial features but something seems to be wrong about them – the forehead: it can too low or too high, or even too narrow. This defects are easy to correct choosing the right hairstyle.
Hairstyles for face with low forehead
A hairdo with a short fringe will work best. The rest of your hair should be scraped upwards as if trying to prolong the forehead area. This way you can create the illusion of a normal-sized forehead. Ears must be revealed. The hairdo is supposed to be light and, if you want, with beautiful curls. Main details should be placed on the temple and forehead areas.
Hairstyles for face with high forehead
Fringe is recommended as in case with a low forehead.
This method is not new but effective. To hide facial imperfections a long and dense fringe works best. To flatter the beauty of such a face you need to avoid adding too many details.
Depending on the imperfections the hairdo can be different. For example, if you have a high forehead try a fringe but comb the rest of your hair back. This way you will make your face the focus of the attention.
If you have a high forehead and prominent cheekbones add some hair details on the sides of your face. High hairdo without a fringe will look ugly. And even with a fringe high hairdo will not flatter your looks.
Hairstyles for face with narrow forehead
A short but puffy hairdo is a perfect option for women with such type of a forehead. Nearly all the details of such a hairdo should be right at the temple area covering the forehead with thin locks. These locks can be even in length or asymmetrical bringing the desirable asymmetry in a hairdo.
The widest part of the hairdo should be on the level of the eyes.
Various partings are appropriate: straight or sided. These are particularly good for thin hair as they help to create the illusion of a volume. A hairdo which has the bottom part wider than the upper part is not a good idea.

I am a blond with a small forehead. My hair is around shoulder length. It is also somewhat course. I have an oval face. If I do not curl or straighten it, it is frizzy. Can you suggest a hairstyle for me.

I take it a “normal-sized” forehead is, well… What is a normal size? Are all the others abnormal?

The best advice I can give is this…
1. To make your face and forehead appear wider, blunt bangs that stretch beyond the temples works. The bangs can be kept in a straight line, or they can have a bit of curve, so long as they are wide enough.
2. To make your face and forehead appear narrower or smaller, try hairstyles that let hang hang over your jawline and cheeks, similar to the last picture of the brown-haired woman.
3. To make your forehead appear as large as possible, you can either pull your hair back, or have what I like to call, “high bangs.” Have your bangs cut either all the way from the top of your head, or close to it. Simply speaking, your bangs will appear really long, and lengthen your forehead, and the eye will not be able to determine where the hairline actually is.

Yeah, this article is way too vague, and I’m almost positive that the information in this article is false.
If you have a small for head, like say you can only fit 3 fingers across, then bangs are most definately not the best look for you.
Bangs usually look best on people who have abnormally large forheads (aka the five head) because it drives more focus to the eyes and much less focus on the forehead.
